BEWARE OF TOURIST SCAM!!!

The prices are high, the portions are small, and the food is just okay. We were prepared to pay a lot for good food, but that's not the case here. It's an absolute outrage! The prices are much too high, and you'll be shocked by the bill: they always charge a 10% service fee. When we asked why we were being charged an extra 10%, the owner showed us a barely readable note in small print in the corner of a menu page. It stated that 10% would be added to the entire bill. If there's a service charge, I expect good service! Having to wait for the Cook to come to the restaurant after you've ordered is not okay. Neither is waiting a long time for your food nor being ignored by the staff when you're the ONLY guests. This scam is planned and tactical. The restaurant is designed to steal money from tourists. It's a shame that this restaurant damages the reputation of beautiful Turkish culture and cuisine. Therefore, WARNING: definitely eat somewhere else. Istanbul has many better restaurants.

Preise sind sehr hoch angesetzt, Portionen sehr klein, geschmacklich aber in Ordnung. Wir waren bereit für gutes essen auch viel zu zahlen, jedoch ist das hier nicht der Fall, eine absolute Frechheit. Der Preis ist viel zu hoch und bei der Rechnung kommt am ende der Shock, es werden immer 10% Servicegebühren berechnet. Auf die Nachfrage wieso uns +10% mehr berechnet werden wurde uns von dem Inhaber, mit einem schmutzigen Grinsen, stumpf und stumm eine kaum lesbare Vermerkung auf einer Menu Seite ganz klein in der Ecke gezeigt. In dieser Stand dass auf die ganze Rechnung 10% dazu berechnet werden. Bei einer Servicegebühr, wünsche ich mir auch guten Service!!! Darauf zu warten das der Koch erst in das Restaurant kommt nachdem man bestellt ist nicht in Ordnung! Langes warten auf das Essen und zusätzlich als EINZIGE Gäste zu der Zeit, vom Personal Ignoriert werden ist kein guter Service! Diese Masche ist geplant und taktisch, das Restaurant ist darauf ausgelegt Touristen einmalig viel Geld zu klauen. Wirklich eine Schande da dieses Restaurant die schöne Kultur und die wirklich leckere türkische Küche in den Dreck zieht. Deswegen ACHTUNG unbedingt irgendwo anders essen gehen. Another great find. I watched a YouTube video to go off the tourist streets a couple of blocks to find the better food. This is one one of those places. Really great food. I had the Chicken Stew and it was garlicky and tomato and came out bubbling hot. The taste reminds you of a great home meal. Brought back memoroes I didn't know I had Wife ordered the grilled vegetables They were really good as well, this is from someone who doesn't eat vegetable! Dinner finished off with bakalva and yea. Came here twice on our trip. Food is good for Turkish food. Sea bream fish was tasty and flaky. The meatball kofte was flavorful. We ordered the tomatoes sauce penne, and it was not what we envisioned which was Italian pasta instead of an herbally pasta. On our first time there we ordered the creamy penne and it was better, but the kids thought the chicken was dried so we switched it up. Restaurant is nice, clean, and cozy. Food price is on the higher side....
