Santa Sophia Hotel — Hotel in Fatih

One of the Most Disappointing Hotels I've ever been to. We lost a piece of clothing at the hotel, and when we reported it, they seemed hardly concerned. The food left on the table that wasn't opened was discarded by their cleaning crew without our permission. They arranged a taxi for us to take to the airport. We had specified a pickup time of 9:30 am, but the taxi arrived at 10:10 am. Since we had forgot one expensive photo frame in the room, we requested the driver to return to the hotel after a kilometer. The driver called the hotel, and the receptionist assured us they would inspect the room and get back to us. They returned with a message saying the frame was not in the room, and it wasn't feasible to drive back to the hotel, so we would have to pay an additional 20 euros ( First they told to pay 40 Euro while i was in the car and i agreed because i knew they are halting the taxi only for money, After reaching hotel, i asked why shuld i pay 40 as therer was a 40 minutes delay at the start from their end and then they changed to 20 Euro)for the distance because they would miss the next pickup at the airport (They were 40 minutes late to pick us up from the hotel), and while returning, they called again to inform us they had found the suitcase on the bed, but they only checked the other location before. Beds are not good enough. Bed Bugs are also there. Also, dont use these people for the airport shuttle, foundout later that the travel agency just opposite to the hotel arrange Airport transfer for 30 Dollers.

Worst hotel i have experienced in my life!! They sent me to another hotel to stay because they had ‘electricity issue’, i had no other choice but said yes because it was late at night.I came back the next day and my room is still not ready they just leave me sitting there wasting my time. But out of all is the disrespect from the reception with no communication and not a single apologies! They even told me I booked an economy room instead of standard so cant expect a good service. I came back to Istanbul because i loved the hospitality and kindness of Turkish people but these people definitely do not represent that ! The room in the replacement hotel i stayed (Seven Days hotel which i believe belongs to them as well) was horrible, filthy and so many noises from the street that kept me up all night. I had very bad experience in this hotel in very short summary: 1- I booked room online on expedia from UK and the offer is show normal room. Night of arrival they give my a basement room (under ground) no windows and it’s completely NOT the room is shown in website and that I booked . After agreement with reception he blamed EXPEDIA and asked me to pay (250 TL ) to get room with windows and I refused. Next day I couldn’t sleep in room because no one can breathe so other reception man that I asked him to change room and they ask my to pay( 75TL ) that was big difference. Finally I paid and I get my room that I booked it online and found many people from different countries had same problem

2- want wrong floor and thought my room and I found out the key that I have can open all the rooms in hotel so during 11days I keept all my stuff with me.
