Lovely place. Super clean and the service is amazing and the staff are great. Please ask the price before you select a fish and ask them to cook it . We got one plate of calamari, 2 jumbo shrimp, and a 1 kg sea bass that came with very little , almost no condiments on the side except some fries not enough for two people and very little veggies. We were slapped with a bill a little over $100 (two sodas as well and a bottle of water). I regret not asking for the price of the fish but the amazing tastes and staff made me not regret paying that much for the experience . I would go there again but I would be more mindful of how much I will pay so that I am not ripped off or shocked when the check comes.

Fish was catch in Bosphorus sea so it's very fresh taste. The nicest thing about eating here, if you sit outside, is you can revel in all the freshly caught fish going up to bridge level where tons of fisherman are lined up. The food at Noktasi is pretty good, but that is also true of lots such restaurants in Istanbul. You do pay a premium. The octopus and unfired calamari were both yum for starter. The breem for entrée was ok. Unsurprisingly not much choice for vegetarians, you can get some small dishes like chard, sautéed eggplant. Service is prompt and polite.

It seems that the restaurant has a lot of high Reviews , but those who understand the quality of food and service will understand their service. They did not provide the service as required as any restaurant of this type. The food was not tasty. Also, the vegetables served with the fish were not fresh, which was annoying, and the french fries were cold despite pointing this out to the waiter. So I talked to the waiter that I will not pay for the service because it is bad, but I was shocked by his abusive treatment towards me and he was not professional in his conversation at all. Fish was dry and over cooked, one of the fish was not cleaned and still had guts and innards inside which rendered more than half the fish very bitter and inedible. When we mentioned to the staff they became very defensive and said “if you can eat one side you can eat the other side” and asked “where is the meat??? You ate” we were not asking for anything but just wanted to bring it to their attention and their reaction was completely uncalled for. Also what is shown on the menu is not what you get.
