We dined as a group of five.
I ordered the Saç Kavurma — unfortunately, the meat was very dry, stiff, and clearly overcooked. My wife had the Bir Lokma Özel — her meat was also overcooked, though not as much as mine.
Two of our group ordered the Sıcak Kase, which turned out excellent — the chicken was soft, tender, and full of flavor. The last of our group had the curry chicken, which was also nicely cooked and well received.
Overall, the service, staff, and atmosphere were fantastic — warm, attentive, and welcoming. The only real downside was the red meat dishes being overcooked. Also, while the food was good overall, the prices felt a little on the higher side compared to the quality.

In Turkey there are millions of street animals that are lovingly cared for by neighborhood groups, shopkeepers and restaurants, but stray cats on the dinner table!! That is...
Read moreFabulous meal at this very busy restaurant. We had the Grilled sea bass and the Hunkar Begendi (Sultans choice), which is a beef dish. It was so good and the meat was very tender and so tasty. The fish was cooked to perfection too. We had the rice pudding for dessert and that was exceptional. Our waitress was wonderful and helped with the food and wine choices. She was very patient, always smiling and busy. We sat outside in the lovely courtyard, which was lovely and clean and nicely decorated. Highly recommend...
