RACISM ALERT! FOREIGNERS PLEASE DON'T GO THERE!
These guys are super racist. I'm an Indian European traveller from the Netherlands and I met a couple of other Indian origin tourists from Europe in Antalya and we went to this place. They did not want to let us in. When we asked why, they said only couples are allowed but we could clearly see that people sitting in groups inside. Then when I asked again, they said, they don't allow if it's all guys. So we sat outside in the terrace, giving them benefit of the doubt. For the next 5 mins, we could literally see them allowing other groups of guys inside who are European or Turkish while we were disallowed entry. I'm not angry but honestly sad to see such close mindedness of this establishment. I am an entrepreneur and founder of a Dutch company and we are doing a European Union project with the Municipality of Antalya bringing European money into the city only to be treated this way here. Honestly every other Turkish person I've met have been very nice to me but this establishment has obviously a blatant...
Read moreWe came to Odin Pub around 11:20 PM for the live music. There was one band playing outside, and another inside. We sat outside, ordered food (fries, sausages, etc.) for 250 lira, and everything was going fine.
Then suddenly all music stopped — both outside and inside. The musicians started packing up and leaving. The manager told us they'd come back soon, but that wasn’t true. Later we realized it was probably some issue with the police, because the shutdown was so sudden and serious.
We were left standing with our food, confused. So we tried to go inside where the music was still on. I carried the food and drinks with me — we didn’t know food wasn't allowed inside. Right away, the staff got rude and aggressive. No one explained anything clearly. We asked them to just pack the food so we could take it with us — they said they had no bags. Seriously? A bar that serves food has no takeaway containers?
We tried to explain with gestures, my girlfriend even spoke some Turkish — nothing worked. The waiters acted annoyed and unwilling to help. It felt like they didn’t want to understand.
In the end, the manager finally helped us pack the food, but the whole situation was uncomfortable and unpleasant.
Not tourist-friendly at all. Staff is rude, no one speaks English, and they clearly have issues with the police. We won’t be coming back.
Read moreFor a club in Turkey where you cant leave your assigned table. There was enough room to actually dance. The live music was amazing featuring lots of english classics and new songs . The atmosphere of the club was not to dingy but not to classy exactly the kindve place I like to get wild. The table service was very good considering how packed it was. We were there for 4 hours or so and I dont think I heard a single bottle break because they cleaned up regularly. No sticky floors etc. I pinned it incase I ever am there again so I can go back!!! Go...
