01 October 2023 Antalya trip cannot be completed without a Turkish hamam visit, and the most traditional authentic Turkish Haman is Sefa Hamam. Once you enter and close the door behind , you will feel that you pass through a barrier across the time ! Everything inside is old and reflect the exact Turkish haman atmosphere, walls, furniture even the amazing soap smell. It is my fifth time to Sefa Hamam and wouldn’t be the last for sure. This time I took the full package with the oil massage. Hüssain, the man who did all the haman activities to me, was expert and professional. He always ask for the level of pressing in both soap and oil massage, as well, he asked if he did a good job or not, once he hear (yes, you are doing perfect) he pleased and smile. The receptionist is a nice man. He speaks English which make communication easy. Reservation throw website and WhatsApp are even make things more easy and fast. As mentioned, I will come back again with my next visit to Antalya. This is the true story of authentic traditional Turkish Hamam.

This was a wonderful experience for my partner and me. We booked the full package for 90 minutes. The hamam is 600 years old and absolutely beautiful inside. The soap massage and peeling was so relaxing because the therapists are extremely skilled and nurturing. The apple tea break half way through was delicious, with the opportunity to have a photo taken of us wearing the traditional towel arrangement after our bath (dashing!). The 30 minute oil massage at the end was fantastic and I enjoyed looking at the beautiful ceiling :) I actually cried a lot during the oil massage due to the emotional release from the deep pressure I asked for, it was so cathartic. This felt like the real deal in terms of hamam experiences, authentic and unforgettable. We felt thoroughly cleansed and cared for. We went for another hamam experience outside of Antalya a few days later and it paled significantly in comparison (perhaps due to the cheaper price, it's well worth paying more it seems). Do not delay - book in now! I cannot wait to go here again if I am lucky enough to visit...

We had this very unique experience here of our lifetime. When in KALEICI, Antalya, on looking for hamams near by, we did find many, but this really excited us. Here, they only have Male Masseuses. We knew and opted for the complete package which was for 180TL. You will fall in love with its old rustic/wooden building, it's changing rooms. You are guided to a big room with big slab of a larger dimensions, and it's way too hot, which you get used to slowly. Stay there and then you will be guided to a bathing room, where you are peeled, scrubbed and with good force. In between they keep on asking if we are good. They give you the very decent massage, never a lady will feel any discomfort, but you will enjoy the pressure. Nextly, you are given a Turkish apple tea, fruit platter and you sit to relax in the Arabic head wrap (lol). Lastly , you are taken for oil massage and there also one feels like a baby washed, and now rubbed by Mom/Nanny. Be there, do there.
