GURME RESTAURANT CAFE — Restaurant in Pamukkale

Last night, I had a fantastic experience at Gurme Resturant , a hidden gem serving authentic Turkish cuisine. From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was warm and inviting. The aroma of spices and grilled meats instantly transported us to the heart of Turkey.

But what truly elevated the evening was the exceptional service. Our waiter, Ali, was incredibly knowledgeable about the menu and offered fantastic recommendations. He explained the intricacies of each dish with a smile, making us feel comfortable venturing outside our usual choices.

The food itself was absolutely delicious. The flavors were bold and layered, with fresh ingredients perfectly cooked. We could tell the quality of the ingredients was top-notch, and the portions...

We ordered 2 cheese pides and 1 chicken shish to share. Everyone enjoyed the cheese pide, it had a crispy outside and soft cheesy inside, one of the best we as a family have had in Turkey. The chicken shish was decent and the food came with so much salad we couldn't finish it all it also has potatoe chips (French fries) which the kids devoured but they still preferred the cheese pide. Also the apple tea was great and we landed up ordering 3. Service overall was a 4 star and the only reason was it started to get busy and it took a while to even get someone's attention to get the bill, but other than that I can't think of anything else to fault them on. We came almost every day during our week in Pamukkale, the owner, his wife and children are a delight and she cooks the best falafel in Turkey 😍.

The gozleme was incredible, besides that many vegetarian options, which is not usual, so it was great! The menu is large, varied and everything is homemade.

The service every day was perfect plus they speak super good English which is also not common in the area! After having tried many restaurants on the main street, without a doubt, we stayed 109% with this one !
