I was extremely disappointed. I’m on vacation and our tour guide brought us here, she seemed like she was taking a cut out of everywhere we went but we didn’t mind as it was a few dollars here and there. We walked in and without handing us the menu we looked through the glass at the selection of what to order. There were 9 people, (7 of us and + 2 including the tour guides that we allowed to join us for dinner.) We got 3 appetizer (2 plates of each appetizer. The plates size was the smallest they have, (the plates they put a bowl of soup under when you get soup anywhere). Then we ordered 9 pieces of lamb chops, 1 chop per person, 4 beef kebab sticks, and 9 pieces of chicken kebabs. At the end they charged us $380 USD.

We didn’t argue and just paid but I did look at the menu and price for everything and it was definitely cheaper. I am disappointed in how you can just rip people off since it’s tourists and expect good business.

Just for reference I will give you an example of how much they ripped us off, and these prices are WAY HIGHER THAN AVERAGE EVERYWHERE.

9 LC * 15$ EACH PIECE = $135 9 Chicken Kebab * 10$ = $90 4 Beef kebab * $15 = 60$ 4 appetizers…. Or What ever $50..

That’s $300

No way in Gods.. or in this case Allah’s name is 1 piece of lamp chop $15.

Anyways, if you eat here, which has good food, make sure to pay by looking at the menu and cost.

If the owner can prove that what we paid is actually the price for all the items what we ordered I will be more than happy to delete this review. If he can’t, then hope you lose a ton of business for your greed.

P.S if you’d like to refund my money I’ll take that as well. And...

I went to this restaurant twice during my stay in Selcuk. I had a bad experience especially the second time. First, the restaurant looked legit from the outside and the food was okay but they did charge me 10% service fee and 5% for the silverware. I didn’t notice until the second time I dined at this place and received a bill with no service and silverware charges. So the first time was completely rip-off. My second dining experience was even worse. As I was sitting at the table, the manager came over and told waiters something then they were looking at me and laughing. They were talking in Turkish so I couldn’t understand it but it felt a little disrespectful and passive aggressive as I was still in the dark about the overcharges at the first time. At the end I asked one of the waiters to bring my bill but he didn’t. I waited for 5 minutes and there was still no bill so I asked another waiter until the third time I was able to pay and leave. I definitely would not come back to this place and would not recommend it to anyone especially if you are tourists. It did leave me a bad impression on the people in Selcuk. It’s dishonest, unprofessional and disrespectful and it’s not cool. The manager was rude as well like a...

the food was the most average I’ve eaten ever, we ordered 3 mains chicken and mushroom on a hot plate meatballs on a hot plate lamb tandoori(which is a friday only special) all of them were okay, not even tasty except maybe the meatballs I had ordered white rice on a side too which took too long to arrive 2 cola and 1 ayran all for 1800lira which is ridiculous also, the place is full of cats and dogs roaming around tables. some people don’t mind them but I do, I could’ve sat indoors but didn’t realize them when I first came and didn’t want to bother the people with...

On our port call to Kusadasi, we hired a taxi to take us to Ephesus and return. He recommended a restaurant off the beaten path and we went! My goodness, this was the best Turkish food I’ve ever had! We had a few mixed appetizers, lahmacun, Adana kebab and other entrees. The service was amazing and fast! We also drank tea, Iran, and a few bottled drinks. I highly recommend stopping at this place if you’re visiting the Ephesus (Efes) ruins. To top that, the total for eight adults was about $180.

The appetizers were all amazing, but the quality of the grilled meats were a little inconsistent. Whilst the chicken wings, chicken shish and the beef liver were all great, the steak was severely overcooked to a point past well-done, and their daily special beef shank was very bland, which were both quite disappointing. However, the staff were generally quite helpful, and the side dishes saved the day.
