Byzantine Aqueduct — Attraction in Selçuk

An Aqueduct located right inside the city center. This is the first thing I spotted after taking hours of trains from Izmir to Selcuk. While admiring the restoration work done by the authorities, the Byzantine Aqueduct is although beautiful, nothing special about it at all. There are many restaurants around it so I recommend you to dine in some of them. Such as the Ejder restaurant, it is pretty nice...

It is interesting to see while walking around the town, especially with the colour and movement of the square and all its cafe/restaurants.

Looking at the aquaduct itself one does wonder about the restoration work. The columns would appear to be a mismatch of collected stone as against the 'original'. Having said that, it does provide an interesting view...
