We had a coffee here last year and said we’d be back for dinner. We arrived around 7:15pm to a beautiful hue of pinks sunset. What a romantic environment this is hidden away in the old part of Selçuk near St John’s Basilica. Lovely personalised rooms; some with a gorgeous view, a swimming pool with the same exquisite sunset view, a relaxing outdoor area with Singer sewing machine tables and running water, and a family style dining room. If you need a little retail therapy they have a large selection of Turkish carpets and the usual Turkish goodies i.e. decorated bowels, cushion covers, jewellery etc. A hamam will be added in the next 12 months. But we came for dinner, regretfully not to stay. We booked and pre-ordered our dinner, the Set Menu. A little pricey at TL120 each but so worth it. The Set Menu includes soup, starter, main course and dessert. The main course selection was a lamb shank; Turkish style, or steak. We selected the lamb shank. (We recommend you order this the day before, when you book.) There were 4 of us and we each had the delicious lentil soup. We shared 2 fresh meze platters and 2 salads. The divine lamb shank; served with rice, came easily off the bone. It tasted like home made food, yummy! Don’t forget to scrape to the bottom of the bowel for the herbs and peppercorns that beautifully finish off the lamb shank. We mixed up our desserts. I lived in the Middle East for many years and this was one of the best and freshest kunefe I’ve had. The mixed flavour ice creams were enjoyed by our friend. The fruit platter was a pleasant way to cleanse our palates and finish the meal. To round off this wonderful meal we selected the Monastir wine from the Shiluh vineyard on the Syrian border. It was excellent! We had a great evening with superb and friendly service. All 4 of us came away feeling we had had a...
Read moreWe stayed in this hotel and we had several meals in their restaurant.
The restaurant had amazing food, great service, and a wonderful view as an add on.
There were days when we had time constraint and we pre ordered our food to be served at a specific time and all our requests were done perfectly. That is great service.
Just remember that if you want the lamb shank - highly recommend this dish - they need 45 mins to prepare it. We pre ordered this for our lunch. It did not disappoint.
Lamb Shank was so soft and flavorful but not overwhelming. Lamb Chops were soft and succulent and cooked perfectly - this is my favorite! Steaks were cooked perfectly and succulent

Read moreWe had an amazing experience at Ayasoluk Restaurant in Selçuk! The food was absolutely delicious, full of flavor and beautifully prepared. The service was outstanding, Joseph, our waiter, greeted us so warmly the moment we walked in and made us feel right at home. The entire staff was extremely friendly and welcoming.
One of the highlights was when the ladies who prepared our food personally came out to greet us after we finished, making sure we were happy with our meal. They asked us to stay longer to enjoy complimentary coffee, tea, and homemade cookies such a thoughtful touch!
From start to finish, the experience was wonderful. Delicious food, warm hospitality, and genuine care for their guests. Highly recommend this restaurant if...
