We had high hopes for dining at this restaurant as it was recommended by a friend. Unfortunately we didn't have the best experience. After getting seated, we waited with menus in hand for 15 minutes before anyone walked over to even offer us some water. While I understand it was a busy night, I think the basics of providing some water should have at least been given when we sat down. After finally getting our order in, we got our appetizer pretty quickly, but then sat for 45 minutes waiting for our entree. We kept constantly getting apologized to by our server, but the couple who arrived way after us wound up getting their main course nearly at the same time as we did! It was a bit annoying that we had to wait so long! To top it off - the food wasn't that great! We ordered the lamb, which was overcooked. We asked for medium rare and got a well done lamb. The grouper also lacked flavor. Overall for the value the experience was very disappointing. We had a much better experience dining at Seven, and found the prices better than here....

First cocktails were actually delicious and well done. 5 stars. Good beginning.
Appetizers were strong as well, we had the beef carpaccio, the scallops, and tuna tartare. Hm I’d say great but the carpaccio was a bit flavourless. 4 stars.
Mains. We had the rib-eye was nicely cooked but over salted and not worth the money. The lobster was hard and flavourless; even with butter. The Japanese short ribs were good but not great. The lamb was good but the mashroom risotto tasted like paper. Lastly filet was good but also lacked flavour. So 3 stars.
Desert taster was good. 3 stars.
Overall as you can see wasn’t bad but to pay almost 700 USD is a bit out of balance and outrageous. 1 star.

Read moreThe only good thing about this place was the ambiance. The service was poor( slow and not overly attentive). It took time to get drinks. We ordered the tuna tartar that literally only had two tiny pieces of avocado and mango and nothing to eat it with, we ordered gnocchi ( bland and chewy mushrooms) and the ribeye steak which was drenched in sauce and 60% fat. After complaining to the manager he gave us 20% off the bill but it was a little sad. We even said on our reservation it was our anniversary and no mention or anything was done for the celebration. They had live music which was nice and the focaccia bread was good. I would not recommend this place. Maybe just come for a cocktail to take...
