🌟 Restaurant Review: A Fresh Gem on the Culinary Scene 🌟

I had the pleasure of dining at District 24 the newest addition to Kampala’s growing food scene, and I must say—it absolutely lives up to the hype!

From the moment I walked in, I was impressed by the warm, stylish ambiance. The décor strikes a perfect balance between modern elegance and cozy comfort, making it ideal for both casual lunches and intimate dinners.

The Service: The staff were incredibly welcoming and knowledgeable. Our server was attentive without being overbearing, and offered helpful recommendations, which turned out to be spot-on.

The Food: Now to the main event—the food. Every dish was a standout. We started with the chicken samosa which was perfectly cooked and bursting with flavor. For the main course, I chose the lasagna and sex on the beach alcoholic drink to close off Friday evening, which was not only beautifully plated but also incredibly flavorful—clearly made with fresh ingredients and care. The portion sizes were generous but not overwhelming.

The Highlight: The absolute highlight of the meal was the pizza with only cheese, which was unlike anything I’ve tasted before. A definite must-try!

Final Verdict: District 24 brings a refreshing experience with its creative menu, impeccable service, and inviting atmosphere. Whether you’re a foodie or just looking for a nice night out, this spot is worth every bite.

I had always passed by in Mulago and was attracted by the sign post to visit. ( But why wasn't it lit when there). 😊

Anyway had a date with one of my besties and it was a good one. The ambiance is amazing, I loved the paintings upto the ceiling level and all the artistic finishes. We found a nice place to sit and I think we had great conversations without anyone eavesdropping 😄😄

Let's talk about the 🍟 🍟 🍟 🍟 🍟. They were so well done, Huge, crispy , my kind of fries, when my plate came I just wanted to order for an extra one, they also tasted amazing and guess what, I was so full after eating my sandwich and the fries served with it that I didn't need extra. The food prices are affordable, you can get a decent meal for 25k. The crowd is mostly young people I guess cause it's affordable and we got to witness 7 birthdays 😄

The cocktails were also strong enough and overall well done.

One thing that stood out for me is the service, everyone is offering you service, clearing your table, checking on you, It was nice to experience in Uganda as Good Service is a Myth in most...

A very disappointing experience. We went for a late lunch. As vegetarians the options were limited. We ordered the oriental falafel and oriental fried veggie wraps with a side of sweet potato fries. We also ordered a vanilla milkshake but they had runout. After a while we were told they had no sweet potato fries. Our order took too long given what we ordered. We were in the middle of our meal when the manager came to explain to us that they only had sweet potato mash and asked us if we wanted some. Why would we when we had ordered fries? We were surprised when they went ahead to bring us the mash, we didn't want it, they brought it and we did not touch it. It is a shame we didn't not pay close attention to the receipt because after we left we discovered that they had charged us for the sweet potato fries. It is very dishonest for them to have charged us for fries they did not have and did not serve us. The food and service were substandard - we will definitely not...
