KLA (+256) SOCIAL — Restaurant in Kampala

I walked into the restaurant on an Wednesday evening as it was close to the hotel I was staying. There was music playing but hardly any customers to enjoy it. There was a couple drinking their beer and engaged in intense conversation. Another guy was just engrossed with his phone. The waiters were all busy discussing something hidden behind the high bar table. I seated myself in the open balcony under a tree, the cool breeze was refreshing. Got my chilled beer quickly and browsed their food menu. Enthused by the extensive Indian dishes including Naan and other breads, I ordered kheema mutter and plain naan. After few minutes the waitress came back and said they don’t have that dish, after ordering other items on the menu, nothing was available! Finally the waitress offered a solution that they can get me naan and mixed vegetable curry. Hungry as I was - I settled for it. What ensued is a long wait. When finally the dish arrived, it was underwhelming. The veg curry was ok, but the naan was rubbery and chewy not really the crispy and soft variety I’ve tasted in other restaurants in Uganda. Finally, I got up to the washroom to clean my hands - no water in the taps! Then a good waiter helped me out with a jug of water. HELLO! WE KNOW YOU GUYS HAVE TO celebrate ur Wednesday's and Thursdays but pls have in mind AFTER 10 PM u stop the noise cause u PPL DONT KEEP IN MIND THERES A RESIDENTIAL PLACE NEXT TO YOU and u don't care about it at all. AND THESE WASHING OF UTENSILS VID WILL BE UPLOADED ON HOW YOU GUYS BE WASHING UR UTENSILS IN A DIRTY MANNER. and theyre always rude to us when we tell them to wash them slowly they rather bang the vessels and just keep laughing. washing of these utensils must be done by 12 am 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻 THANK YOU and pls take action before we upload vids on how dirty you guys's hygiene...
