From your first appearance at Que Pasa, the mood in the air hits different. It's positive vibes all the way. The art and decor will definitely catch your eyes as it boasts of local talented creators and artists and yet fully embodies a Mexican theme. The music is at a level that will enable you to have that conversation you've been longing to have with your friends and simultaneously conduct after work cocktail hour with your colleagues audibly. Dare I say, it's a place I can sit and have a crack at my excel worksheet haha. The menu is wide and will definitely have an item to tantalize your taste buds. The staff are friendly and boost the entire Ambience. It's an all week escape if you're looking for good times and a super chilled beverage, alcoholic or non alcoholic plus the location is convenient for me! Their consistency and resilience inspires me. Despite the pandemic and the challenges it carried, they are still here, all smiles and ready to give a memorable experience. Looking forward to...
Read moreWe went there last week to try out some Mexican food in Kampala. When we entered, we were seated inside on the window. The table was very dirty. Sitting: 4/5 It's a small place so it fills up fast. Popular with a foreign crowd. The place is fairly vibrant with a Mexican aesthetic. A lot of interesting art to keep even the dullest of interactions engaging.
Pricing: 4/5 They have happy hour so it would be ideal to engage with them during this time for best prices. Food pricing is mid-range on average. Shouldn't have any problems finding something though owing to the volume of options
Music: 3/5 Music isnt exactly the selling point here. Ambient at best. Overbearing sometimes. It tends to go up with the general noise levels. Or is it the other way round as people try to overpower it to sustain conversation
Food & Drink selection: 5/5 Great food. Good number of options on the menu. Drinks options aren't as many as some places out here but...
