Inarguably the best place in the city. Atmospheric, authentic and what's really important - the food is out of this world. I've been visiting it for years, since the time when noone actually knew it was there. In a place like this you can forgive every little trouble, because the overall impression is to be remembered for life.
They offer traditional cuisine, every bit as delicious as if your own mother/grandmother (in other words, the one who cooks best in your family) made it for you. Combined with some mulled wine or dried fruit beverage, it all makes a festival for your tastebuds. Whatever you're taking, be sure to ask about their cheese-onion pie. Chief Ramsay himself would probably say "rustic", but eat the whole plate, I'm telling you!
I will recommend this place to anyone visiting the city. Just go there! You will be satisfied.

Read moreI honestly was expecting such great things after reading so many positive reviews and i have to say the food i ordered was absolutely terrible.

Definitely not a pie in the slightest. more like soggy potato bread with a wierd sauce that was not mentioned on the menu... The fish ... similar to frozen fish from the supermarket..soggy batter..topped with ALOT of cheese and then topped with some tomato sauce with red pepper. Not exactly fish with veg. Tasted horrible and i left most of it. Nothing about cheese on the menu either.. Redeeming factor was the waiter was pleasant and the setting had a good...

The staff speak English enough to take orders. But the menu here is -with all due respect- terrible! It's not categorized well and doesn't explain the dishes clearly. Eventually, you find yourself asking things about the menu.
I went this restaurant because of a recommendation of a friend. I've been told how good the food was, so my expectations were high. However, it didn't match it. The food was barely average and service was slow.
I believe there are much better restaurants around the same prices in Lviv. If I were you I would have chosen...
