A new Egyptian Restaurant in Abu Dhabi that will probably be our most favorite!
🇪🇬 KAZA AKLA 📍 Tourist Club Area
We visited it many times..first one of which was last Ramadan ( March 2024). From March till June 2024, we have ordered delivery Almont once a month , pick up almost twice a month 😀
The Restaurant is always buzzing with people with Egyptian songs in the background. Staff looks energetic and keen to make customers completely satisfied. They were always nmoving in and out , up and down with small serving chafing dishes and huge trays :) Last week, we wanted to try their suhoor so upon arrival we were given the option to choose between Egyptian and Turkish trays ( for 1 or 3 ppl ). We opted for 1 pax Turkish tray and it was excellent ..it had eggs, basterma , salami, assorted cheese Platter, labna, dried fruits, samosa/ spring rolls, cucumber, tomatoes, olives , pickles, tummeya, honey with cream, Watermelon and freshly baked Turkish bread. The tray also included 2 types of jam and Nutella bowl and they were so courteous to carefully listen to our request to swap them with molasses with tahini & watermelon. They even served complimentary yogurt and tea for the 3 of us at no extra charge !
This whole tray was only 50 dhs !
Before we left with a big smile we made a reservation for iftar to bring some friends to explore the vast menu of this place with us 😊
I was crossing my fingers that iftar would be as good as suhoor and they didn't disappoint. Actually, iftar was so amazing and exceeded everyone's expectations. I appreciated that they called me 6 hours before iftar time to take our pre-orders.
Our iftar included the following: Kuza Moza : Lamb shoulder with saffron rice @ 50 dhs - 5/5. Grilled whole chicken with rice @45 dhs - 4.5 /5 Egyptian Lamb chops @50 dhs - 5/5 Egyptian Tikka Kebab @50 dhs - 5/5 Egyptian Molokheya - 5/5 Hawashi ( pan fried stuffed bread with minced meat ) - @ 25 dhs - 3/5 Libyan Mebakbaka aka pasta with meat - 35 dhs - 4.5/5 stuffed cabbage with pan fried meat @ 50 dhs- cabbage 3.5 / 5 & meat 5/5. complimentary chicken soup with noodles 5/5 complimentary drinks was generally average 3/5 except for the old fashioned Egyptiab sobia (5/5)..loved it! complimentary dessert Platter was good however the basbousa was to die !!! complimentary Tea ( make sure to ask them to bring it without sugar).
By the time we were enjoying the last few sips of our tea ....they offered all their clients an assortment of Eid cookies.
I really want to give a big shout out to the management and the staff who were super attentive from the minute we arrived till we left. They even helped us with finding a parking and were keen to listen to our feedback. It's not easy to tick all these marks when you are still in the soft opening phase!
If this restaurant was in a more posh neighbourhood...the queue would be even longer. They will open a new branch in WTC with same...

I recently visited this charming restaurant, and I must say, it left quite an impression. Let me break it down for you:
Ambiance and Cleanliness: The restaurant boasts a beautiful and immaculate setting. However, some seating arrangements could be more comfortable. The high tables paired with low chairs (safas) made it a tad awkward to sit. But fear not—the overall cleanliness and aesthetics more than make up for it.
Service: The waitstaff, while friendly, had a few hiccups. Some of them struggled to grasp our orders accurately, resulting in a mix-up of dishes. Kudos to the management, though—they promptly rectified any errors and ensured we received what we actually wanted. A little extra training for the waiters would go a long way.
Culinary Delights: Now, let’s talk about the star of the show—the food! We dined here twice, and each time was a gastronomic delight. The menu offers a variety of options, and we savored every bite. The serving sizes were just right, leaving us satisfied but not overly stuffed.
Must-Try: If you’re a fan of refreshing beverages, their Mojitos are spot-on.
Presentation: The dishes arrived beautifully plated, enhancing the overall dining experience. Presentation matters, and they nailed it.
In summary, despite a few minor glitches, this restaurant won us over with its delectable food, pleasant ambiance, and attentive service. I wholeheartedly recommend it to fellow food enthusiasts. Bon...
