Seven Hotpot Restaurant (Electra Branch) — Restaurant in Abu Dhabi

This is an honest review whoever reads please mindful before going food in the restaurant was okay

The main thing which really disturbed me was staff way of servicing the food at the table and some behavior to pass on a message

First of all they have this unlimited buffet system where in they charge aed 59 per person But i didnt order the buffet because i know my limit to eat and my wife limit to eat we wanted to try Chinese so we went there but they had this tax of wasting food so we didn't order much but just two items from bbq menu As I ordered my second meal the staff brought it and put it on my table like he was throwing a bone to a dog very unprofessional And very bad behavior skill of serving

Then after i was finished my food i was talking to my wife the staff looked at my table while he was taking a peak at my plates i saw him looking in my plates so then they wanted me to leave thats when they had other guests who already left and while cleaning the other table this staff while picking the dishes he made so loud voice like he was throwing the plates on floor to catch my attention that to leave the restaurant as i have finished my food and like i am not allowed to sit extra I literally felt so bad because the table which cleaned was right behind me

I strongly felt that He made that noise so loud purposely while picking the dishes and cleaning the table to pass on this message to me to leave i didn't say anything and i left the place as i felt so bad that this felt like

Trust me there was hardly any rush in the restaurant

1 other staff was very helpful as he was explaining me all the tamarinds and chutney the process of how its made and why its made

I didnt have a good time there so not recommended Food is not something we look in a restaurant We go there for experience of culture diversity

A small time restaurant is way better than this in...

Went on a family outing, my niece insisted that we go to a hotpot as it was close by and halal. So, we went to try it, first time to experience this style of eating. But we loved it!!!

Firstly, you're greeted and taken to your table and given instructions on how to order. Where the sauces and veggies are. You're given list of variety of meat and seafood that is available. You then tick the boxes for what you want, they bring you as much as you like (1portion or more). Till you're satisfied, you can keep requesting for different options.

The hotpot experience was better than I anticipated, it was delicious and straightforward. You add your ingredients in the hot flavoured broth and take it out when you want to eat. My niece made a peanut and chillie sauce (from the sauces) and it was so delicious with the food. The meat was more tasty than the seafood.

Overall was a new and wonderful experience. Not something I'll do regular as you're practically cooking but for a group of people it's fun. I'd do it again, every once in a while.

Oh and obviously all the food was halal. The staff were welcoming and nice. And the restaurant is a decent size, seating was comfortable.

Oh also, parking was a nightmare! No places to park or even drop off.

This is one of my favorite Shabu-shabu place in Abu Dhabi - near me. The dining area's cleanliness is well-maintained. The chillers where they place all the veggies, balls and seafoods are always clean and refilled (which is AWESOME). The quality of their seafood (shrimps, fish and crabs) is definitely fresh. The variations for the dipping sauce is just enough. Not a whole lot of stuff but it's enough to create a great dipping sauce. Oh! they have an addition - ICE CREAMS (a lot of tubs) for the dessert; in addition to the Sesame balls and bread with sweetened milk. The owner/manager, kitchen staff and servers are very friendly and energetic.
