Here’s the final refined version of your review with the additional detail:

Review of Al Hamra Plaza – City Season

I stayed at Al Hamra Plaza – City Season for about two weeks on a business trip, and my experience was excellent overall. The hospitality, cleanliness, and professionalism of the staff truly made my stay comfortable.

One of the things I appreciated the most was the housekeeping team. They paid close attention to every small detail when cleaning and arranging my room, ensuring everything was perfect. Every time I returned to my room, I felt like everything was in place—my belongings, the fresh scent, and even small details on the table. Their professionalism made a big difference. Special thanks to Vamshi and Balaj (I hope I got their names right) for their excellent service on the 9th floor, room 913, where I stayed.

The restaurant staff were also wonderful. Unfortunately, I lost the names I had written down, but I want to highlight the lady working during the morning shift, the gentleman at the restaurant entrance who always asked for the room number with a smile, and the overall friendliness of the team. Their service was always professional and welcoming.

In terms of hospitality, I want to thank Mr. Habib and Ahmed, who were always welcoming and professional in their interactions, making every encounter pleasant. Additionally, Mr. Abdul Jalil took great care of our car in the valet parking, ensuring everything was handled smoothly and professionally.

The only issue I encountered was with the trolley service and luggage assistance. The staff member responsible for this service didn’t seem very helpful or willing to assist when I needed storage or luggage support. This happened a few times, including during checkout on February 9th at around 11:30 AM. I believe this is an area that could be improved.

Location-wise, the hotel is in a great spot. If you’re looking for a place in the heart of the city, close to everything, this is a perfect choice. It provides easy access to nearby attractions, shopping centers, and restaurants, making it very convenient.

Overall, my stay was fantastic, and I highly recommend Al Hamra Plaza – City Season. The housekeeping, restaurant, and hospitality teams made a great impression, and I look forward to staying here again in the future!

Let me know if you need any more...

I have been staying at this hotel for the past 1.5 months almost, mainly because of its proximity to my office. However, the stay has been far from satisfactory, and I would not recommend it to others.

Initially, I stayed in Room 1016 on the 10th floor, where I faced persistent issues like a leaking health faucet. Almost every morning, the bathroom would be flooded, and after repeated complaints, the faucet was finally replaced. Even the handheld shower in that room wasn’t functioning properly.

Things took a turn for the worse when I was abruptly asked to shift rooms over a weekend due to internal reasons. I had to pack and move to Room 1414, which was a stressful and exhausting experience. Unfortunately, the new room came with its own set of problems. The bathroom flush button had frequent issues, and even the technician admitted the fittings were outdated. Every time the housekeeping team cleaned the room, we had to call maintenance again to fix the basin drainage, which would repeatedly get blocked.

On multiple occasions, I was disturbed at night by water leakage sounds from the ceiling, and once again had to alert the reception. Even the health faucet in the new room started leaking, which makes me wonder about the overall plumbing quality in the hotel.

Despite paying a significant amount for this stay, the experience has been frustrating and uncomfortable. Had it not been for the convenience of location, I would have moved out much earlier. I’ve already paid for the current extension, but I will definitely not extend further.

This hotel does not justify the cost, and I strongly wouldn’t recommend this hotel. What the use if we can’t have proper relaxing stay after spending this much amount?? Purely from my personal experience. I feel it’s high time for them to evaluate renovating the facilities including bathroom, wardrobes, mirrors etc. Please go through some of the recent reviews about the condition of the facilities, you can definitely see lots of similar reviews. Even though it is listed as 4 star hotel, not at all recommended...

Very very bad hotel I have seen in Abu Dhabi town much poor quality hotel compared to one star two star 3 star hotels

very old hotels this hotel has its own problems but let's get rid of that but even so the behavior of the staff here and a lack of professionalism

is very clear the management here is still in the basics If you are not careful and leave the day-to-day operations here entirely to the lower-level staff, you will face a serious downfall in the future.

Let me tell you some things about your experience.First of all, there is no prayer room in this hotel. One of the reasons that make it difficult for Muslims is that even as a four star hotel, there is no prayer room here.

If we ask about the prayer room, we can see the staff who look back at us with disdain as if they heard

something wonderful.

The next thing is about the customer care system here

Those who have stayed in other hotels know that if we have any requirements or complaints, if we call the hotel's housekeeping section or customer care section, they will address it as soon as possible.

But here it is the reverse, here in the housekeeping section, you have to call for the guest's needs, but if you pick up the phone and say that it will be ready immediately, then there is no action from their side even for a day or two, so bad customer service here.

Similarly, the behavior of the restaurant staff is different, their facial expressions are like enemies towards customers and guests who come to eat food.

There seem to be one or two Indian Filipinas standing there and a few women who lack significant training and don't know how to treat a customer road or guest in a restaurant.

There are so many things to say that by my valuable suggestion those who intend to stay here will choose other hotels better to say there are so many problems that this hotel has now one of the worst hotels you can think...

I recently had the pleasure of staying at City Seasons Alhambra in Abu Dhabi, and I must say, it was a truly delightful experience. From the moment I arrived, Ibrahim at the reception made me feel incredibly welcomed by upgrading my standard room to a gorgeous junior suite. His kindness set the tone for my stay, and I was further greeted with warmth by Ms. Lean over the phone. I fondly remember her assistance during my previous visits; she is truly a gem who adds so much value to the experience. The suite itself was a lovely retreat, and I truly appreciated the thoughtful touches that made my stay enjoyable. However, I couldn’t help but feel a sense of nostalgia regarding the breakfast offerings. Having visited this property since 2015, I fondly recall the bustling atmosphere of the international breakfast buffet, where I would see numerous Europeans and Caucasians enjoying a wide array of delectable dishes. It was always a highlight of my visits. Unfortunately, this time around, I noticed a significant shift in the menu and the guest demographic, with a more pronounced focus on Indian/Arabic cuisine. While I appreciate the diverse culinary influences, I genuinely hope that the hotel can reinstate the remarkable international breakfast options that made my previous stays so memorable. Overall, my visit was wonderful, and I cherish the memories created during my time there. I eagerly look forward to returning in the future. Thanks a bunch. My stay in Abu Dhabi at City Seasons Al Hamra was genuinely peaceful thanks to the outstanding team—these staff deliver inmyviewin my viewinmyview five‑star service. From valet to reception and room service, everyone was consistently polite, caring, and proactive. They anticipated our needs without waiting for requests—a level of attentiveness that should serve as a benchmark for other hotels. Guests on booking platforms similarly highlight the reception staff and valet for helpful, friendly, and professional support The rooms were spacious and quiet with a pleasant fragrance throughout. They felt slightly dated in places—some carpets and fixtures showed wear, reflecting the hotel’s age—but cleanliness remained impeccable and the ambiance consistently calm. Booking.com reviews note the rooms are clean and “acceptable” though somewhat old in style The fitness centre was well‑equipped with modern machines, and it added to the overall comfort. While efficiency varied per guest, many reviews praise the facilities and housekeeping for their attention to detail Location is excellent—right in the city’s commercial heart, making shops, malls, restaurants, and public transport easily walkable. Many guests mention its central position and the convenience of the free valet service nearby In short: an excellent location; large, spotless and silent rooms that feel slightly old‑school; a modern fitness centre; and, above all, exceptional and empathetic staff who truly go above and beyond. Thanks to the team . See you soon
