Happen to visit the restaurant yesterday night 11 pm, after hearing fair reviews on food quality from colleagues. Food was fine as expected but the attitude of the staff was horrible.
We reached the place by 11 pm.The staffs welcomed us and gave a menu stating only 2 food items are available and considering the timing we too agreed to compromise with the available options. The staff who bought the menu was soo rude and he mentioned, order fast we will close now. After few minutes, we were served ( to be frank food was thrown to the table) with what we ordered. Every 5 minute one or the staff will make sure to irritate us by stating we will have to leave soon. We asked for kunafah at some point of this and the answer was - you are the last cusotmer and we are just waiting to close once you leave. We do understand that the restaurant has a timing and need to be closed by 12 am. Inthat case you shouldnt have allowed cusotmers after 11 pm. We had a toddler with us and it will normally take time to have food. We still managed to leave the premises by 11.50 pm itself.
We would like to inform the management that - First or Last cusotmer, please train the staff to behave well to all customers.
Will try our best not to be there back to see such...
Read moreSo here I go again, every visit to Al Madfoon Al Khaima makes me like it more or was there something special yesterday. It was a wow moment for each and everyone of us.
Despite all the pushback and other suggestions from the kids I decided to head out to Al Madfoon once again. And boy was everyone happy with the decission. All the way from the Rocca Salad to the Kunafa everything was finger licking good.
Starting off with some dates, rocca salad, tang and water for iftar, we ordered the Meat Madfoon, Chicken Madfoon and Chicken Mandi today followed the cream kunafa as well as the cream and chocolate kunafa.
Not sure if I can rate it 11 out of 10 :) but it definitely deserved it. We couldn't stop eating and of course ended up over eating. But this was well deserved at Al Madfoon on this visit.
And I kept on saying the verse from Surah At Rahman: "Then which of the favours of your Lord will you deny". SubhaanAllah Ma Sha Allah.

Read moreWe recently visited Madfoon Mandi and had a satisfying overall experience. We tried their mandi, which was very good — the meat was tender, flavorful, and paired perfectly with the aromatic rice. The portion sizes were generous, making it a great place to dine with family or friends.
The restaurant itself is quite spacious with a nice traditional touch to the decor. It has a calm and welcoming atmosphere, and there’s a dedicated family section, which is a big plus for those coming in groups or with children.
The staff were generally friendly and helpful, ensuring we were comfortable and had everything we needed. However, during peak hours, we noticed that the team gets a bit puzzled when handling large crowds. Service slows down and there seems to be some confusion in attending to all tables efficiently. This is an area where some improvement in coordination and management could really enhance the dining experience.
Despite that, we enjoyed our time there. The food and ambience make it worth a visit, especially if you go during less busy times.
Overall rating: 3.5 out of 5. A good place for traditional mandi, with room for improvement in service...
