Bait Al Mandi Restaurant — Restaurant in Al Qasimia

Staying in Middle East I look forward to try its flavoursome cuisne . We were invited by @baitalmandishj to try their typical “ARABIC” food. From the beautiful interiors to lip smacking food @baitalmandish has it all. They serve all sorts of Mandi, Madghoot , Madfoon , Kabsa , grilled/bbq chicken in different variations. The staff was really helpful in explaining each and every dish in detail. After hearing it all we opted for 🔹 Mutton Shoulder Mandi (Spicy) 🔹 Sherry Fish Mandi There is option for Rice - Biryani Rice (slightly spicy) Mandi Rice (non spicy) We opted for biryani rice in the mutton Mandi & Mandi rice for fish Mandi !! Trust me Biryani rice over mutton Mandi was totally scrumptious from the whole menu. We were served a complimentary Fattoush Salad, salsa, yoghurt & raita. After a massive meal we were served a soothing Qahwa or herbal tea with honey which gave me a level of comfort Alhamdulillah. . . Let’s get to the “DESSERT” How can we miss Kunafa ?? It’s mandatory to have kunafa if you’re visiting @baitalmandi. They’ve got 3️⃣ Flavours. 🔸 Cream 🔸 Cheese 🔸 Chocolate I’ve already already tried cream & cheese before so this time opted for Chocolate Kunafa. The Kunafa was perfect & crisp, layered with chocolate. Which was just another level. Trust me you’re missing out in life if you haven’t tried their chocolate kunafa ❤️ . . We visited their Al Qasimia branch. They’ve got other branches all around Sharjah too. I highly RECOMMEND you to visit @baitalmandi & try their lip smacking food which won’t even hurt your pocket. . . Thank you @baitalmandi for having us. We’ll surely visit again soon. I didn't want to repeat a review of the same restaurant but since it's on a different location it might be different but I'll would like to point out that it's the same flavor if not, better.

The Bait Al Mandi I've always been to was in Al Muraqabat in Dubai and that's where I had my first Chicken Mandi. When I moved into Sharjah, I was looking if there's any Mandi shops here and to my surprise, there's an official branch nearby.

Of course I'd order a Chicken Mandi and Fish Fillet Mandi, now what's different about this and the one in Dubai is that while waiting for our order, there's FREE tea and dates available for us, so took some and sip and it's the best free tasting tea I had, even better than the ones I get from cafeterias, it has a cinnamon flavor to it and as for the dates, I had it for dessert.

So going back to the chicken, I believe due to the lesser number of people coming by here, the chicken I got doesn't taste like it was sitting in the kitchen waiting to be served or rushed because there's a long queue of orders. It was cooked right and it was juicy.

I'm very particular with my chicken and Chicken Mand is just on a different league, it's not fried or like generic roasted, not even battered like your KFCs or such. It's on a category of it's own.

As much as I want to think of anything negative or something to improve on, Bait Al Mandi had perfected their Chicken Mandi and with a whole lot of serving of rice, you really can't ask for anything more. As for their other menu, I can't comment on that but come for the CHICKEN MANDI and you...
