After waiting over an hour to get my food, the delivery hero arrived with the wrong order, after realizing, I chased him down and explained he may have given me the wrong order.
The delivery hero then Informed me that he only received a single parcel from this location. I then called the restaurant to let them know the Manager “Mois” tells me he mixed up the orders (WHICH I KNEW WAS AN ABSOLUTE LIE, AFTER SPEAKING TO THE DELIVERY HERO). I played along knowing my food is on the line, then he tells me he’s going to send someone with half my order and I can pick up the other half the next day. I Said that’s fine, when the driver arrived I gave him the wrong order and took the new one.
The next day I call the restaurant not even as soon they opened I called at 3:00PM for “Mois” I was told “Mois” isn’t available and HE will call me in 5 minutes. After 35 minutes I called back and he says you can pick up your order in 30 minutes. When I arrived. The front desk team is talking in a foreign language and laughing like they screwed over my food and it’s funny.
Let’s do some math and see what’s really FUNNY. I live in Cluster F about 500 meters away, I order grills for a special diet 5 days a week, my order total was 127.36 x 5 = 636.80 x 52 weeks in a year = 33,113.60. Yes, I do order it 52 weeks in a year from places that treat you well. Sounds funny how much money you can lose for being careless. I don’t recommend. It was the first and last time. I’m the one...
Read moreI recently had the pleasure of dining at Afghan Palace, and I must say, it was an unforgettable experience! From the moment I walked in, the warm and inviting ambiance set the tone for the meal ahead. The decor beautifully reflects Afghan culture, with rich colors and elegant patterns that transport you to a different world.
The service was exceptional. Our server was friendly and knowledgeable, guiding us through the menu and offering recommendations based on our preferences. It felt like we were being welcomed into a home rather than a restaurant.
Now, let's talk about the food! The menu features a variety of authentic Afghan dishes, and everything we tried was bursting with flavor. For the main course, I opted for the * Pulao*, a fragrant rice dish topped with tender lamb, carrots, and raisins. It was cooked to perfection and had a delightful balance of sweet and savory flavors.
Overall, Afghan Palace is a gem that showcases the rich flavors and warm hospitality of Afghan cuisine. Whether you are a fan of ethnic foods or trying Afghan cuisine for the first time, this restaurant is definitely worth a visit. I can't wait to return and explore more of their...
Read moreA nice place to have dinner especially with friends and family. Generous portion, as always. A big bright light sign with the name AFGHAN Palace makes it so easy to spot. When we went there on Saturday afternoon, it wasn't crowded. Food served in the next 20-25 minutes after ordering.
They have an open kitchen so you can see how they do their stuff, the fire and the smoke of course. There's a bit of smoke leaking out to the dining area but it's not something bothering me. Yet it really gives an additional impression of a real authentic kitchen.
The interior is simple. Traditional paintings hanging on the wall, classical lamps, and there's even some books on available to read. Next to the bar, there's one traditional dining area where people can sit down on the traditional rugged floor and enjoy the food served in front of them. I noticed that when it's not reserved, people use this area for praying as well.
The restroom is super clean and dry. Tho you may find no air freshener, you wouldn't notice...
