Baskin Robins — Restaurant in Dubai

Yesterday, our visit to Baskin Robbins in Karama around 4 o'clock was quite disappointing. Firstly, we found the corner table with a sofa was dirty, and despite our wait, the staff didn't bother to clean it. Consequently, we had to settle for another table. Secondly, unlike our previous visits where we were provided with a plate and a special knife for cutting the ice cream cake, When we politely requested a different knife, the response from the staff member lacked politeness. While we understand there may be management rules, the communication could have been handled more considerately. Furthermore, the presence of numerous mosquitoes added to our discomfort. Consequently, we have decided not to return due to the poor customer service experience...

There is this one specific employee who tries to upsell everything (his picture is there in another review) , if you order the Summer Sea Salt he will force you to buy the Sundae or the big waffle cone as apparently they are “NOT ALLOWED” to sell this in the regular cone. It is as if he is making his own rules. All other Baskins branches have no such condition. I think they do this because this is one of the branches that is open till 3am and no other baskins in the area is open till late so the customer is left with no choice but to forcefully buy the costlier option....

I came into this outlet and asked for a KIDS SCOOP which I ordered just last week. However, to my surprise, the attendant told me that they do not have those size cups as they are out of stock and instead were telling me the next size is Dhs 17. I found it odd and I just walked out the restaurant. Clearly, either stocktaking and inventory needs to be taken seriously by the manager here or else they are purposely doing this to ensure you pay more when you dont...
