I would not recommend this restaurant for iftar, it’s a complete waste of money. The setting is supposed to be formal and elegant, yet there was absolutely no preparation for the extremely high winds at this open-air venue. If you’re wearing a dress, abaya, or scarf, be prepared for everything to fly around uncontrollably.
The buffet setup was a disaster. Food was left completely exposed to the wind, getting cold almost instantly. Even worse, people’s hair and clothes were flying into the buffet, making it unhygienic. Trying to fill a plate was frustrating—food was literally being blown away. In fact, we were struggling to even stand properly at the buffet, let alone take food onto our plates. I understand that it’s an open restaurant, but for a high-end place, they should have accounted for the wind by enclosing the buffet area or at least providing proper wind barriers. I wanted to take pictures of the food to post but I couldn’t due to the chaos.
To make matters worse, I had brought guests here for iftar today, expecting a pleasant experience, but instead, it turned into a huge embarrassment. They felt extremely uncomfortable in the chaotic wind and the entire situation ruined the evening.
On a positive note, the view was beautiful, and the waiters were doing their best to help despite the difficult conditions. However, that doesn’t change the fact that the overall experience was a disaster.
For the price we paid, we expected a smooth and enjoyable dining experience. Instead, it felt chaotic and uncomfortable, completely ruining our iftar mood. When I spoke to the manager, he simply said, “This is not in our control.” I insisted on having the food served at our table instead, to which he agreed, but he offered no proactive solution. His attitude wasn’t welcoming either.
Overall, this was a horrible experience. If you’re thinking of coming here for iftar, don’t , unless they make serious changes to the setup. Not worth the money or the...

Read moreThe Filipina waitress was so kind and accommodating, forgot her name but she was the only Filipina there. Another Filipina will accommodate you from the entrance to your chosen table / seat. Service was great, foods taste good as well, with a good serving and presentation.
I just expected too much with the view, it could be better if everything is pure wall glass with few posts in between, but there’s a wall glass barrier, then an open air, and thick posts outside barriers that became distractions on the view. I expected it to be much better than Baiyoke Sky Restaurants at lounge bar, but it did not exceed my expectations. It’s an open air, but it was quite hot without the fan / ventilations in front of every table that are added distractions with the atmosphere as well.
Though overall great with the service and the food.
Another con is just that they should serve even just wine or light alcoholic beverage for us people who wants to chill and relax with the ambiance and drink few glasses of wine or champagne. They should have a license to serve liquor given to its title, WORLD’s TALLEST HOTEL.
Also, wall glasses inside the rooms are dirty as well as in their 2 restaurants where they serve breakfast. Can’t take good photos and videos...
