BE CAREFUL! WAITERS ARE DISHONEST, I HAVE BEEN SCAMMED.
They subtly charge you more without you noticing it.
I asked for local water, which is around 2 euros, and the waiter with a judgy face asks me “oh so you want LOCAL water, correct ?” He then brings me imported water which costs around 10 euros.

I ordered many things as you can see from the receipt I have attached, one of which was “pick your own sashimi” which goes for 144AED. You can choose 18 sashimi pieces, so I did and you know what I found out because I read the receipt? THEY TRIED TO CHARGE ME 20% MORE BY BILLING ALL OF THE SASHIMI PIECE INDIVIDUALLY!
So I told the waiter and he answered “No you are wrong, the receipt is correct what you are saying is all-you-can-eat”
I asked him to bring me a menu to explain to him that this is what they offer on the menu. He understood and asked me to wait to speak to the manager.
Here is where I GOT SUPER SCAMMED, this Philippino waitress comes out and apologises for the Pakistani/Indian new waiter and tells me he is new. I am very sorry. So you are supposed to pay 751 correct? I said “yes! Thank you” and hand her the money and call a Taxi. She came back to give me my change, she apologised again, wrote the correct amount on the receipt and said next time ask for me I will give you a 20% discount for the trouble.
I was Happy that they noticed their mistake so I got up, got my change, went outside, gotten in the taxi, and when I was almost home, I got my wallet to pay the taxi only to find out that THEY STOLE PURPOSELY 26 AED from my change.

We are regulars at Miyabi and decided to try out this branch for a change. The food quality and presentation were up to standard. I wish I could say the overall dining experience was great, but the service ruined it for us.
The waiter serving us misled us about the entertainer offer available. After a struggle in communication, the waiter confirmed that the ‘buy 1 get 1 free offer’ applied to everything on the menu and that each coupon needed to be used PER person, causing us to order dishes knowing that we’d only essentially pay half price. We even communicated with the waiter ensuring everything we ordered would be covered by the entertainer offer, to which he agreed. When the bill came however, we were told that the offer only applied to two dishes and was not applicable per person, unlike what we were told earlier. We had to pay an extra DHS250 because of this mistake on Miyabi’s side. Really unacceptable and just dampened the mood. I would have gladly paid that amount, but the fact that we were deceived into paying more than we were told was just really dirty.
The manager did try to make things better by offering to take an extra Entertainer coupon, helping to bring the price down. He also gave us complimentary green tea, which was appreciated, but was too little too late. Miyabi needs to train their staff members on proper communication to prevent mishaps like this from happening again.
Would steer clear from this branch, especially if you’re looking to avail any sort of offer or promotion. Staff members will distort what the promotion actually covers, forcing you to pay up at the end of your dinner....
Read moreI normally don't write reviews but this time I was so annoyed that I was intrigued to write this review literally in the middle of my dinner while sitting here at Miyabi.
I reserved a table for 2 on the outside sitting area but when I arrived, there wasn't a table for me. I agreed to sit inside till someone else gets up and I can go & sit outside JUST so that I can place my order in the meantime. It took someone 25 minutes to come and attend us just to simple take the order! There seems to be only 1 waiter and 1 trainee waiter! Funny enough, the restaurant wasn't full either. Only the outside sitting area was full but the complete inside area was empty which suggests that the restaurant wasn't operating in full capacity but still not enough waiters! It seems like it's taking ages to just simply call someone to attend us because no one can be seen around here! I wanted to ask for more stuffs but I can't be bothered anymore.
