Oriental Dining @ NFH Motor City — Restaurant in Dubai

Located in the neighborhood food court in Motor City, this spot serves a variety of Asian dishes, with a focus on Malaysian cuisine. Be prepared though parking can be a bit of a hassle, especially on weekends.

Tried the char koay teow, but it fell short of expectations. It lacked the signature “wok hey” aroma and was missing some of the key ingredients you’d find in a more authentic version. The chicken rice was decent, nothing to complain about. As for the fried calamari, it was average in taste and the portion size was noticeably smaller compared to their other branch.

We are yet to try out their other dishes on the menu. So we can’t review on other dishes but shall try out on our next visit.

Overall, a convenient place if you’re nearby and craving Asian food, but don’t go in expecting truly...

We recently visited Singapore Malaysia Oriental Dining in Motor City. We were initially attracted by the 1 AED chicken rice promotion, and while we didn't make it in time for the offer, we were pleased to find the dish available on the regular menu. The chicken rice was truly exceptional, recalling the authentic flavors of Singapore's bustling hawker centers. We also enjoyed the cereal calamari, which was perfectly crispy, and the Malay kang kong, which was cooked just right. Every dish was a delight. The service enhanced the experience; Ginn was warm and welcoming, and Ming ensured we were satisfied with our meal. Even with a long queue, the cashier was efficient and friendly. We commend the chefs for their skill and will certainly return to explore more...

Okay, so we finally hit up Singapore Malaysia Oriental Dining in Motor City, and let me tell you, it was SO worth it! We saw the crazy 1 AED chicken rice promo, but sadly missed it. No worries though, because the regular price chicken rice? Still absolutely spot on. It legit felt like we were back in a Singaporean hawker center, that's how authentic it was! We also got the cereal calamari and Malay kang kong, and everything was just… chef's kiss. Ginn was super friendly, and Ming checked in to make sure we were happy. Huge shoutout to the amazing chefs and the cashier handling the massive queue like a pro! We're definitely coming back to try more of their menu – this place...
