My experience dining at Operation Falafel was nothing short of exceptional! From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with a warm smile and excellent service. The atmosphere was lively yet cozy, creating the perfect setting for an enjoyable meal.
The food was the highlight of the evening. The falafel was perfectly golden and crispy on the outside, with a tender and flavorful center. The shawarma was juicy and seasoned to perfection, and the hummus was the creamiest I’ve ever had – absolutely divine! Every dish tasted fresh and authentic, showcasing the rich flavors of Middle Eastern cuisine.
The portion sizes were generous, and the presentation was impressive, adding to the overall experience. The staff went above and beyond, frequently checking in to ensure everything was to my liking, and they were happy to accommodate special requests.

Read moreDespite being regular customers who had a genuine fondness for this establishment, our recent visit was quite the unexpected episode. Our guests from overseas joined us, only to witness a rather peculiar turn of events where our table seemed to fade into the background amidst the hustle and bustle.
The inadvertent oversight in taking our order left us feeling a bit embarrassed, especially considering our longstanding admiration for this place. It was disheartening to experience such an anomaly in service, prompting us to leave without placing an order.
The lack of attention towards our table, coupled with the unnoticed departure, has certainly left us reevaluating our future visits. It's regrettable that despite our previous enjoyment here, we may not be inclined to return after this bewildering experience.
It's almost as if the waitstaff needed a crash course in customer service, given the unusual oversight in attending to our table. The experience was a bit perplexing, leaving us pondering why our presence seemed to fade into the...
Read moreI am a regularl customer of Operation Fakafel. Today I tried to place a phone order at 6.30pm, but the line was busy. I called repeatedly for 15 minutes at least it doesn't times and it was always busy. Arrived there at 6:45 p.m. and placed order in the restaurant and when I mentioned the line was busy and asked 'why', the person at the till simply said he didn't know. I then called the restaurant from inside the store to show him, the line was still busy and no phone rang. I asked the cashier to ask the manager, who was sitting at a table working on his laptop, and he said ok but did nothing. I ordered several times before by phone and the call was alwats answered. But for some reason now they appear to take the phone off the hook, which means you cannot place a take away order by phone. This is quite disappointing and really a waste of customers time who keep trying to call but can never get through.
( please note this review does not cover the food which I actually think is...
