I visited this restaurant with high expectations, but my experience was marred by deceitful practices and unprofessional conduct. Initially, the service was acceptable; the waiter provided us with the wine, cocktail, and food menus. However, I noticed that the drink menu did not list Hennessy, so I explicitly asked the waiter whether they had it. He confidently replied, “Yes, we do. Do you want Hennessy or Hennessy XO?” I clearly specified that I wanted a standard Hennessy, not XO.
We proceeded to order drinks—two glasses, each with a double shot, totaling four Hennessy shots—and enjoyed our meals. After finishing, I requested the bill. To my shock, I was charged an exorbitant 920 AED solely for Hennessy XO, which I never ordered nor was it presented to me initially. I immediately pointed out the mistake to the waiter, explaining that he had charged me for Hennessy XO instead of the regular Hennessy. His response was baffling: he looked at me and claimed, “Boss, we don’t have regular Hennessy, only Hennessy XO.”
I challenged him, asking why he had asked me which one I wanted if they only had XO, and why he brought me the product I explicitly did not request. He then retrieved another menu and pointed to a section where only Hennessy XO was listed, revealing that the restaurant was deliberately misleading customers. This was evident because they had multiple menus on the table—three visible and a hidden fourth menu, which included drinks like cognac and other high-end spirits. However, they deliberately did not give us this fourth menu to hide the fact that only XO was available. When I raised my concerns, they continued to deny the obvious, playing games with their menu and pricing.
The staff’s dishonesty was blatant. They asked which Hennessy I wanted, I confirmed my choice clearly from the start, yet they still manipulated the situation to push a more expensive item. When I confronted them, they tried to dismiss my concerns, and subsequently, another waiter came over attempting to justify their scam by showing me the menu after the fact. I told him it was too late, as the damage was done, and I refused to be part of their deception.
This restaurant is a disgrace. Their tactics are unprofessional, deceptive, and outright fraudulent. I advise everyone to be extremely cautious: always ask for every menu upfront, verify prices before ordering, and never trust their word if it contradicts what you see in the menu. Their intention seems to be to inflate bills dishonestly, and I will never return to a place that operates with such blatant dishonesty and disrespect...
Read moreI'd like to express my enthusiasm for visiting your establishment. First, I want to say that I definitely recommend your establishment to people. The main thing that drew me to check out your place was the music from the rooftop. As I've been interested in melodic techno, when I heard it flowing from upstairs, I had no clue what to expect. My sister and I came to Burj Khalifa, as she's visiting me and I wanted to show her the fountains. We easily realized that it would be better to see this beautiful show from your terrace. From the entrance, we met such polite personnel, such as the security guard and hostess. We were accommodated behind the bar, and upon our request to be closer to the side for a better view, your crew let us sit there without any issues. From this point on, I'd love to mention two very important individuals who contributed to our delightful time - Maria and Karina. From the bottom of my heart, I truly wish you a fast-growing career and definitely believe in it, as they provide excellent service! We had planned to have some cocktails and appetizers. In total, we tried four different cocktails each! Please pay attention to the fact that they were served in a very smart way, starting with light ones and gradually becoming stronger, giving us more and more endorphins. I ordered the Shrimp Kiss for myself, and my sister took the King Crab Salad. I already knew what the Shrimp Kiss was about, as Karina informed me twice about how it was prepared. So, I can say it was nice, but next time I'll try something else. 😅 As for my sister's choice, she was so satisfied with her dish that she still misses it. It was truly memorable for her. Well, she would rate it 30 out of 10! That's her opinion, but unfortunately, she's not a Michelin inspector. 😂 Going through our entire gastronomic experience, I was completely satisfied with DJ Stylez's performance. I'd love to mention the name of the drummer who accompanied him, and I apologize for my ignorance. Their talented artistic souls deserve to be recognized. My highest consideration goes to the quality of service, the education of your entire crew, and the expertise of the manager who looks after the restaurant. It has earned my deepest respect and appreciation for entrusting my evening to such professional hands.
P.S.: As a cherry on top, we got adorable photos from your Instagram spot!
With all my pleasure and gratification, Urla, you have left us with incredible memories of one night in...
Read moreDined here yesterday let’s start with pros and cons
Pros: staff friendly and attentive, blonde Russian host mumbled and had no clue what she said, easily forgivable as she was probably put at the front desk just to entice people inside
Cons: Took 15 minutes to find where the entrance is for this place, no signs and a dingy elevator entrance still under construction, unsure how anyone gets here correctly the first time
They have a no professional camera rule but you can take pictures and videos with your flash on your phone? How’s does that make sense?
Anyway got seated shortly after, the view is basically why you are paying the extortionate prices I will mention ahead.
The music is relaxing and has a good vibe, if you are having food it is 500 AED per head minimum spend but for drinks it’s 250 AED minimum
The menu has not much variety, there is the baby chicken which I saw for 195 = £40, what world is a baby chicken worth £40?
Soft drinks are around 44 aed each, £9 for a coke? Having a laugh
Me and my girlfriend ordered the truffle pasta and I ordered the wagyu kebap. Kebap was around £56 for 6 small pieces and some mash of some sort
Her truffle pasta was mediocre that cost £40 roughly, we also ordered cocktails and her wine
Mocktail was 65 aed each about £13.41 and just tasted like sugar syrup to be honest
The best part about the food was the dessert, we ordered the chocolate spaghetti (a chocolate cake with a scoop of ice cream on top and some mousse shaped spaghetti)
This actually tasted nice and the server was quite enthusiastic about prepping this
On the night we had 3/4 different servers taking orders, bringing stuff, not very organised l, didn’t get any introductions or names from any of them
My girlfriend ordered cacao, it was a hazel praline chocolate egg with cream placed on top to reveal the inner crumble, was very nice tbh
These desserts were around the more decent priced range
All in all stayed around 2 hours, is it worth the money? No
Should you try it once if you are in Dubai and want a nice view of the burj khalifa? Yes
Is the food quality good? Mains not good, dessert excellent, drinks poor
Service: the servers tried
Bill total was 1250 which they then added on a service charge and extra municipal tax!
The prices are so high I thought this would have already included it and it doesn’t mention this...
