I had an extremely disappointing and unpleasant experience at Patchi Dubai Mall on 30th December at around 9pm, I visited the store to have my friend taste test a chocolate I had already purchased the day before. When I requested assistance from the salesman, Odyagu (I believe is the spelling) his behavior was shockingly unprofessional and rude.

Firstly, he threw the chocolate towards me instead of handing it properly. To make matters worse, he gave me the wrong one. When I politely corrected him, he snapped at me, saying there are “different types,” and repeated his dismissive behavior by throwing another piece my way.

When we asked if everything was alright, he raised his voice and got into an argument with me in the middle of the store, completely disregarding basic customer service etiquette. I even warned him about his tone, but he seemed unfazed and continued being confrontational. He later tried to justify his behavior by saying his manager was present and could vouch for him, implying I was in the wrong.

Even when I appealed to the manager, she ignored the situation and dismissed my concerns, leaving me appalled at the lack of accountability.

As a loyal customer of Patchi for many years, this was deeply upsetting. Such behavior from your staff is unacceptable and reflects poorly on your luxurious brand. I don’t seem to understand what kind of customer service training is being provided if this is how customers are treated.
