This is the story of a Chatti Perattu grievance from a Chatti Perattu fan, telling about how my favourite dish fell from greatness to nothingness.
I have been an ardent fan of Zains Beef Chatti Perattu, for a long time. I made my first order somewhere in May or April of 2024. I loved it so much, that I havnt quiet eaten any dish like this one. It had the flavor, the taste, the pieces, big chunks, that If u bought one it would fill u up like u can't move out of ur chair. I loved it soo much that I would order it most days and that's the only thing I ate from Zains Karama. But, All of those amazing mouth watering, stuff dried out was 5 months ago. I have to say they have killed my fav dish. Three months ago I start noticing that they have stopped putting those hidden gems(beef pieces) inside the rice. They used to be so big and more in number and the taste was so good, especially the rice, it was a Kalavara of flavour and taste, and that smell, uffff.. Ente Mone, Kili pokumm, Pwoli saanam. I was surprised why I got so many pieces in my plate.

Today, is Wednesday Jan 15, 2025, I Havnt ordered my fav dish in a while. So I did order it today and It tasted bland, there was no salt added. There was that flavour, but it didn't have that old gumm. There was no hidden gems, just three measley pieces smaller than mango bites and two of them were just fat. I have seen the death of my fav dish. I never thought I would write a review quiet like this, but I felt this deep in my medulla oblongata and my stomach.

I feel compelled to address the service because of its subpar quality. The way the staff handle customers, particularly when taking orders, has been consistently lacking in politeness and professionalism. There were instances where it felt like they harbored some kind of animosity towards us as customers. One such incident involved a staff member audibly and rudely banging a glass on our table, seemingly without any reason.
Furthermore, their approach in taking orders made us feel as if we were being treated with disrespect, as if we were mere beggars rather than valued patrons. It's essential that the restaurant invests in comprehensive training for their staff to ensure that all customers are treated with respect and courtesy.
While I don't frequent this restaurant very often, I must admit that the food is not entirely unworthy of the price. However, the service leaves a lot to be desired.
