I can only comment on the lack of experience of the management of this restaurant as we didn’t get to the food part and decided to leave and dine in a different restaurant (best decision ever). I arrived 6:39 at the restaurant and we asked if we could get a table outside to watch the fountain. The host lady at the door wrote my name on the reservation list and told me that our table will be ready in 25 mins and that we have to come see her after 25 mins. We came back after 25 mins exactly and walked to the host lady at the door. There was a line of people waiting outside and while the lady was about to take us inside a very rude lady placed her hand on my shoulder and said “we were here before you” I replied “I am sorry but I have a reservation and my table is ready”. She replied “ you should have said that”. In the mean time her brother squeezed himself in front of my daughter and pushed her with his body and turned toward me (I was terrified and started shaking) and screamed at me “you have tongue you should talk and say that you have reservation” while pointing to his tongue in an aggressive way. I was shocked and terrified and said “you don’t have the right to talk to me you can only complain to the host not me”. He then started shouting at me again and I asked him to go and stop talking to me. Surprisingly, no one from the management team said anything to him or tried too stop him (a very nice lady who was dining on a table next to the entrance gave me water as I was shaking and said "unfortunately, we live in a male world where men think that they are entitled to say anything to women"). Instead, they gave him a table and took me to my table. While walking to the table we passed by his table and he looked me in the eyes (very terrifying) and I was shaking more and said to my daughter when we got to the table we need help I am scared. I then asked the host to add another table because I decided to call my brother and invite him to dine with us to feel safe. I texted him but he didn’t see it so I walked to the mall security and asked for help (the rude dude stuck his tongue out while I was walked out). This made me worried more that he might hurt me if he sees me again in the mall later. I was shaking, crying and in a miserable condition when I saw the security. Security confirmed that the management should have dealt with him and told him to refrain from arguing with other customers. They said try to talk to out out management to approach him. Well, Zouzou management didn’t care at all. They even didn’t bring the second table they promised to. They said “we pulled you and talked to you”. I replied “but you didn’t talk to him and ask him to stop threatening me”. My response kept them speechless. We left and had food at Alhalab. Wonderful management, superb view and...
Read moreVegspective- ( vegetarian perspective!) The first time I was in Dubai for a business trip our local employee took us to this place. Since then I have been in love with Lebanese food. It’s so flavorful and has so many elements to it. I came back to this place for dinner on this trip after almost 4 years. I vividly remembered how the food tasted and it did not disappoint. They have an amazingly huge menu. I went for the Greek salad and Eggplant Fette. The Zatar is such an amazing mix of herbs and spices and these guys do an amazing job brining out the flavors of it. The Greek salad was delicious the feta cheese was by far the creamiest and freshest I have ever eaten. It was perfectly dressed with fresh cucumbers, lettuce, tomatoes and onions. The eggplant fette is my all time fav dish ever. It has layers of warm flavorfully roasted slices of eggplant topped with yogurt, pomegranate seeds, parsley and more spices! You have to try it to believe me. You’ll fall in love!! It was just as I was expecting it to be and maybe more actually! Loved it. There is no alcohol options at the Dubai mall location so I got a yogurt drink, think of it as salt lassi. Fantastic meal overall although, as I was by myself, I ate about a third of what was served!!! HIGHLY recommend a visit! Tons of...
Read moreI had a very bad experience at this restaurant two days ago with the Lebanese girl who greets customers at the door. She didn’t greet us or even smile, and simply asked, "How many people you are?" Her attitude was very irritating, but we tried not to pay attention to it. We wanted to sit outside, but she responded with rude gestures and an unprofessional tone, stating that all the outdoor tables were full and we had to wait. My brother was speaking to me about this, and then she cut our talking and she spoke to me as if she were my manager, telling me “ i am the one who will tell you where you sit and we you don’t sit”. At this point, I had tolerated enough of her behavior and asked her to stop being rude and change the way she spoke to customers. She then responded even worse than before and began arguing with me. Honestly, I advise the restaurant to replace her as soon as possible because she is very bad at her job and gives a negative impression of the restaurant, especially since she is at the front and represents its image. I can only thank the supervisor who tried to calm the situation and greeted us well. I recommend that he replace her as soon as possible to maintain the restaurant’s good reputation, both in food quality and...
