I have nothing but praise for every single Starbucks in Aberdeen City Centre. I frequent them all. I was saddened by the news that the one that was outside Bon Accord centre in Aberdeen shut last Sunday. It was lovely to be able to sit outside on the table and chairs in the sunshine.
Today I was in the Starbucks on Upperkirk Gate directly opposite Marischal College. I was met by the wonderful Jasmine who reminded me that we had spoken a few times before. I suffer terribly from dementia and consequently forget names and faces and constantly lose personal items. In particular The Reusable Starbucks cups. I must have spent a small fortune on them. At the last count I was on about cup #28 in 3 months! Jasmine was really friendly and we had a giggle about how terrible my memory is and the amount of cups I go through! I have previously been given a cup from the Starbucks in Union Square free of charge and one of the amazing staff at The Holborn Junction put her hand in her own pocket and bought me one to keep there and use. Of course I have lost that one ages ago!
I had been bought a couple of name bands by a friend today. One for a close friend Michelle, one for my son Adam . Kindly she bought me one with my Sunday name Edward prior. lol. Jasmine was working with the lovely Eva and the two girls seemed like a great team especially as the place was busy. How these two professional, friendly, genuinely good people can still give you time for a chat and a laugh proves how organised and professional they are. I bought another two reusable cups for the bands one sold by the crazy cat woman Tess. (it will only be a matter of time before dementia boy Eddie loses both!!!) Hahaha. She is a self confessed crazy cat woman so I'm sure she will not take any offence at that comment. As this is the only Starbucks in Aberdeen left with tables and chairs out I shall definatly be back!
Starbucks Head Office in Seatle. Take note - keep hold of these two outstanding customer focused employees. Absolutely gold dust! PAY RISE FOR JASMINE,...
Read moreI visited Starbucks today and was helped by two employees—Michael and JR. While Michael was working extremely hard, handling multiple orders on his own, the overall experience was disappointing due to a lack of teamwork. There were already about six customers waiting for their drinks, and the wait time was longer than expected.
What stood out most was that Michael seemed to be managing everything behind the counter by himself, moving quickly and doing his best under pressure. Meanwhile, JR, who took my order, remained at the till and didn’t assist with drink preparation at all, despite the growing line of waiting customers. It was frustrating to see one employee overwhelmed while the other appeared disengaged.
I don’t blame Michael for the delay—he was clearly giving it his all. This experience could have been much smoother if there had been better collaboration...
Read moreThank you, Starbucks! However, this Starbucks isn't worth the money. Whenever I've ordered delivery from this Starbucks, there have either been missing things or improperly packaged orders. When my delivery of two fresh ghost frappes arrived, I opened the bag to find half of the Starbucks drink gone and the other entirely damaged. Although I am aware that mistakes sometimes occur, I contacted Starbucks to request a refund or to send out another two. But, I attempted for a full hour to get them, but my calls were being dropped. I'm not going to purchase a delivery from this place again. I'm not happy at all. All I can say is that you should get the order you paid for. I will strongly advise you not to order delivery through...
