Interesting food, if you are looking for authentic Italian food this is not the place. Do not order the garlic bombe it was not cooked at all and the inside was just a bunch of raw dough. For mains I had a sticky pork pizza, I can understand how people would like this but this wasn’t definitely not for me. Not the restaurant fault I definitely could have tried something different. I also ordered chips for sides these were great. I would also recommend ordering the Sanpellegrino lemon as drink this was great. Overall staff were nice food came in a reasonable time and prices weren’t that bad. But the waiters keep touching THE food not just the plates, without washing their hands that’s disgusting. If you can go somewhere else to eat I probably won’t come back here.

Had a 3-course meal with friends here on Saturday. Excellent food & atmosphere. My starter was deep-fried Squid better known and on the menu as Calamari, Calzone for mains, and for dessert, Dragon fruit, strawberry meringue with strawberry sorbet & vanilla ice cream for £27.50. One dessert for me but my friends who didn't order dessert because the mains were more than enough were curious about what dragon fruit tasted like so I asked the waitress to bring another four spoons at my request. Dragon fruit is a combined pear & kiwi fruit so it has a unique taste. You really cannot ask for much more for a three-course meal at a set price of £27.50 which is excellent value. A calzone alone will cost at least £12- £15 as a main. Great service from the staff. Recommended.

The food looked good, but I have to say it ate average at best. The calamari was rubbery and I have bought better from Food Warehouse. The King Prawns were way over cooked and very dry. The wine was excellent! There were only 2 other tables occupied, and the service was slow. I had to ask for the bill at the end as no one had noticed I was waiting for a good 10 minutes. I ate at 3 venues whilst staying in Aberdeen, and Zizzis scored 3rd with me. Also the most expensive from the 3 restaurants I visited. I was served at shift change over time. The guy who served me originally was fantastic. The food was amazing. 10/10 for food and the man’s service. But after he left and everyone came on shift for the evening things were very different. I was ignored for a long time. I waited ages to be offered a second drink even though I asked for and was given a drinks menu they didn’t come back to take my order. The manager (I think. Girl wearing a green dress) was stood chatting at the bar with all the other servers for a long time before I was served and after my drink was ready and I could see it sitting at the bar and they all just kept walking past me and ignoring me rather than serving me.

I love this place and am a member of the zizzi club app, I come here regularly and this was the worst service I have received. I have an offer on the app for a free main for my birthday and I don’t think I want to go back and claim this due to the service.

I’m a GM of a restaurant also and I don’t like to leave these type of reviews but the service from the later team was shocking. Shoutout the the man that served me first though,...

Food Quality: Average / Poor / Nothing special A couple of months ago (I go about once a quarter) I would have said Excellent to probably the best place to go for Pizza. Now, I wouldn't recommend.

Value for money: Poor £60-70 family of 4, two courses and you get the usual tip begging from the chip and pin machine. Sadly if you want to go anytime a normal family eats you will not get many offers at all.

Front House / Waiting Staff: Excellent Staff clearly are superb, professional and have been all working there for years.

Atmosphere: Excellent Always warm, buzzing and lots of smiles. Was no different this time.

After years of coming here, because lets face it Aberdeen is poor overall to take the family anywhere decent, sadly Zizzi's joins the list of places to not go / avoid, but only based on the food. If you are only out once this month and you want it to be dependable, avoid.

I recommend the management look heavily into quality of every meal before it leaves the kitchen; definitely not up to...

The only reason I'm giving this two stars and not one is because the waiter was very friendly and obviously was good at his job. We were quickly seated on comfortable seats and asked if we wanted drinks. What we didn't know was that a small bottle of diet coke and a 100ml glass of orange juice came to nearly £6! We ordered food, both of us having pasta dishes, which arrived within three minutes of ordering. Wow, that was fast! Sadly both meals were likely reheated, my partners chicken very obviously frozen and tasting off, my own pasta being a third of the size of her meal, despite being much more expensive. I supposedly had a beef brisket and venison tagliatelle, however of the three small pieces of meat I had none of them were venison. The sauce tasted like an old ready meal that had been reheated. The pasta was very dry on top, and over soft on the bottom like it had come from a microwave.

I wouldn't recommend coming here given the abundance of far better alternatives within...
