Cassidy's Kitchen — Restaurant in Ashfield

Another day,another breakfast. We got there about midday. They were queuing out the door. So it's safe to say they are quite popular around these parts. There's very limited seating inside, but luckily, as we joined the queue, a couple of seats were vacated. We dived in and claimed a spot immediately and placed our order at the counter.

FULL ENGLISH £7.50 2 bacon, 2 sausage, fried egg, hash brown,black pudding, beans, tomatoes, mushrooms & sourdough toast. Plus, a mug of tea £1. This was an excellent breakfast as the meat ingredients are supplied by their butcher's. Which makes such a difference in taste and quality. Extremely good value.

They don't just do breakfasts. There's hot and cold cobs,jacket spuds,rice boxes, and something we've got our eye on to try for next time,Burritos. If there's a queue when you arrive,don't be disheartened as most customers are grabbing a takeaway. You may be lucky and get a very sort after seat inside. I've been longing to visit Cassidy's Kitchen for so long after catching an incredible review online some time ago.

I’ve always stopped by Cassidy’s butchers down the street when in Hucknall, so I knew the food would be nothing short of exceptional and it didn't disappoint!

When we arrived, we found plenty of cozy window seats and inviting outside seating — and luckily we had the chance to share a seat at the main table, which made the experience all the more special.

The service was warm and attentive, and the coffee was absolutely divine 😋. The breakfast cobs were absolutely brilliant, bursting with flavor, and the full English I ordered was simply perfect — a true mastery of breakfast!

It’s clear this place is bustling with life, and that’s because the quality and care they pour into every dish. Would definitely recommend popping in even for a takeaway cob or trying a rice...
