Morrisons Cafe — Restaurant in Barnsley

Edited my rating as we went on Sunday just gone and we had to wait just shy of an hour for some toast and a cheese and bacon toastie. First time it came out it was wrong also. It was cheese and onion,which my daughter is allergic to. They apologised for the lateness and said we could have a free drink or cake.... Whilst this is nice and ok maybe they should have acknowledged the very nearly bad mistake of giving someone something they are allergic to which they did not. Cafe was running very late that day in the end but people where told 30mins when after an hour people were still waiting. A good place to have a relaxing coffee and a bite to eat after suffering trolley rage around Morrisons. Prices are reasonable. My only downside is food is rather rushed. Be careful with the cooked breakfasts as the eggs are very undercooked. Quite a few times i've had partially raw fried eggs which puts me off the rest of my breakfast. Sausages can be a bit undercooked too. They do however have a good selection of main meals, and healthy options of sandwiches, cereal, salads etc.

Shocking café will not return. Went in on Sunday afternoon. Before we even sat down we were told it's a 45 minute wait for food. The place wasn't even half full. Sat down, looked at menu and went to order. Ordered 2 waffle breakfasts to be told no waffles. Ok back we go to see what other option my daughter and friend wanted instead. Ordered something else to then be told cash only! When food did arrive it was cold and stale as if it had been sat waiting a long time.
