La Taverna Bath — Restaurant in Bath

We went there because the review were really good ( I think the reviews are for the old management because they were written more than a year ago and now the place is called " Italian Bistro caffe something... not " La Taverna") I ordered bruschetta but that's not a "bruschetta" it was just normal bread with mushrooms on top. Then I had homemade lasagna, it had no taste and it has soo much oil and cheese on top, I couldn't finish it as I was feeling sick while eating it. We all felt sick and had stomachache for the whole night. Definitely...

Amazing place! Fantastic, freshly cooked food and great value for money. Dessert was the best I'd ever tasted, home-made tirrimisu - not something I like, but this was proper homemade and not like anything I'd had before, no overpowering alcohol or coffee! The lady said she had been making it the same for 13 years, and I'd go back just for this! If you want amazing Italian food, this is 100%...

We went to this restaurant as the reviews showed it to be excellent… however it really wasn’t! The staff were friendly and the place looked clean and cute… the main issue was the food! Was so bland and tasteless… we left feeling sick and unsatisfied… do not get the lasagne or penne Al forno…It was so overpriced...
