We hired the private room upstairs for a special Mother's Day meal with the family. The room was fantastic, the food was delicious, and Sasha and the team looked after us wonderfully. I would highly recommend the Pulteney Arms for a meal or a quiet pint in a warm and friendly local pub. Thank you ā˜ŗļø

Dreadful place waited 30 minutes to eat rubbish...customer service is just not what they do...I came here a few years ago believing in was a rugby place..the service was poor then little has changed...it is expensive and pompous...poor food and badly kept expensive beer...

Nice friendly local pub with a good atmosphere. Menu is short but it's got all the normal pub classics. I had the chicken pie and it was brilliant, very tasty. It's a pub for dog lovers. Good selection of beers.

My first review for google plus but its for a good reason - this pub is a real hidden gem. I was going to say "off the beaten track" but in Bath nowhere is that far away. Admittedly it is on the "other" side of the river from the main town centre but it is barely 5 mins walk from the bridge. The pub is small, cosy and very friendly. From the memorabilia it is obviously a rugby pub but on non rugby occaisions it is not too busy and is a great place to spend some time. The food is first rate - we had a terrific burger and excellent fish and chips. Puddings were really tasty too and all £3.50. Mains were £7 to £11. A great selection of beers and ciders and reasonable wine prices. Finally the staff were exceptionally helpful and friendly. All in all...

I'm not local to Bath, so my visit was driven by recommendations elsewhere and it being a Bath supporters haunt. Suffice to say, it's a great local pub tucked just off main streets, but you get a friendly welcome, nice surroundings and spaces to take a seat, and a good variety of beers on tap. Being a match day it was busy by 1.30ish with a great atmosphere.

The bar staff are very efficient and aware of those waiting for service, it's nice to go somewhere and not feel like you're just a walking pound sign, your custom is appreciated. Needless to say, next time I visit I'll certainly be...

I visited Thr Pulteney pub on Sunday around 14:30, hoping to enjoy some nice fish and chips. Unfortunately, my experience was quite disappointing. When I arrived, the bar staff informed me that the kitchen was closed, which was frustrating given that Google’s opening times indicated that food service was available.

It’s always disheartening when expectations don’t align with reality, especially when you’re looking forward to a specific meal. I hope that the restaurant can address this inconsistency in their hours, as it would greatly enhance the experience for...
