Wow where do I start. I already knew that Café Red would be fantastic before I even arrived in Belfast. I knew what to expect from all the reviews already posted however it's nice to experience the 'Best' for yourself.

Owners Ciara and Kerry are the most beautiful, genuine, wonderful, warm - friendly souls you'll come across. When me and my friend walked into the café on a busy Friday afternoon we had the most amazing welcome. Laughing and joking with us straight away.

It felt very genuine and like we'd met somewhere before. The menu was plentiful and the food was absolutely amazing. The 'best' infact and very competitively priced. Clearly in a price sensitive area but non the less it was very good value for money and tasted excellent.

The food is locally produced and sourced which certainly helps local independent businesses.

Both women work extremely hard and nothing is too much trouble for them.

Great atmosphere all around constantly vibesing high with strong positive attitude(s).

I highly recommend Café Red for any meal, whether breakfast or a sandwich. You'll absolutely love it just just like I did.

I will be back next year sometime.

Thank you so much for making my trip to Belfast the 'best'.

All the best moving forward and keep up the great energy and...

If you enjoy very bland, basic food then this would be a good choice. I'm extremely surprised this place gets so many positive reviews. It's super basic. My scrambled eggs were overcooked (to the point the water had separated from the eggs and had a chewy texture). I suspect they were cooked on high in a non stick fry pan without butter or seasoning as they were also completely tasteless. The only other thing on the plate was 2 slices of plain supermarket bread. The price is similar to other cafes in the area but there is literally nothing to this food. My tea was also incredibly weak as only one teabag in a large teapot. The radio music (and radio ads) was so loud it was uncomfortable. When asked if they could turn it down the woman said the volume was broken and they couldn't do anything about it. I gave it 3 stars purely because the staff were friendly, service was very fast and my companions coffee was...

I came in here for the first time with my friend and as soon as I stepped in Cafe Red, the atmosphere was beautiful, very traditional family owned cafe. Gold radio playing in the background made it feel more lovely relaxing and traditional cafe vibes. Do not waste your time and energy looking on the maps for other places or walking around and around in the city of Belfast, when I have no doubt that I can say Cafe Red is the number one cafe of them all in town. 🔝1️⃣ Thank you Ciara and Kerry, the lovely owners of Cafe Red. I had the pleasure of tasting the most delicious and greatest porridge I’ve ever eaten. Lots of choices on what to drink too. Very very good cafe, very happy ❤️
