The Hercules Bar — Restaurant in Belfast

Quick visit for a quick snack. Blew my mind beyond all expectations . I've worked top kitchens around the country. But theres only 2 places worth mentioning. The Hercules in belfast. And, the basement in armagh. Basement for my breakie. But the hercules for my lunch and dinner in belfast. Bit of a travel but so so worth it. Simple honest pub grub. Heard that the food in the Hercules restaurant was now the best in town so we tried it out ....lovely upstairs dinning area .traditional Irish music playing in back round. Ordered bushmills pie . Vegetarian sausage creamy champ. Irish rib eye steak chunky chips .beer battered cod . Irish cheesy garlic soda .the food came to the table pipping hot .every dish was absolutely amazing..served by two lovely young waitress who couldn't do enough for us .would definitely recommend this hidden gem ..we all...

TOURISTS DO NOT ENTER!!! Went in as I was working in Belfast. (They heard I was English). Orderd a pint of Guinness charged me 4.50 for 3 quarters of a pint that was deliberately poured wrong and slammed on the bar with it spilling over the edge and going barely above the Guinness label. worst pint I’ve ever had would rate 0 starts if google would let me.
