Greggs — Restaurant in Belfast

This branch of Greggs is in a large retail park in the Boucher area of Belfast. The site is more of an industrial area, packed with car show rooms and larger branches of clothing retailers and household goods. It wouldn't be suitable to access on foot, being quite a bit out from the city centre. The branch itself sits along one edge of the main car park, closer to the right hand side of the shop fronts. For the size of the area it serves, this is just a smaller size shop. The day we went, the store had the current social distancing measures in place, allowing 4 people at a time into the store. The produce on sale was a mix of baguettes, toasties and pre cooked hot items, Southern Fried goujons (delicious) and wedges. The counter was well stocked with Greggs favourites, sausage rolls, vegan or pork and the various pasties. The sweet counter.. Wow! I grabbed a Pink Jammie, jam filled, pink striped doughnut. Yum! I stopped by Greggs on Boucher Road with one of the people I support, and I have to say the experience was genuinely lovely. The gentleman behind the counter was incredibly kind and patient when my service user got the order a bit mixed up, he noticed right away and quickly brought the correct tea with a smile. As a support worker, that kind of understanding and attentiveness really stands out. The shop itself was spotless, well-organised, and had a calm, welcoming atmosphere. The condition of the establishment was significantly lacking in cleanliness, creating an unpleasant environment. Furthermore, the absence of any available customer service representatives contributed to a frustrating experience.
