Complaint about: An Italian male manager (wearing a green top)
Unfortunately, our experience at this restaurant was very disappointing, and I do not recommend it, especially for non-Irish or non-European nationalities, as the Italian manager there is extremely racist and disrespectful. We went with two takeaway bags from another restaurant for me and my younger sister, but my older sister insisted on eating from this restaurant because she liked sitting there. So, we decided to enter and order a pizza for her while my younger sister and I ate the sandwiches we had bought earlier.
When the manager saw my younger sister and me eating our sandwiches while my older sister ate the pizza we had ordered from the restaurant (we often visit restaurants and bring food for those who don't like the restaurant’s menu, so they can enjoy their meals while others eat from the restaurant, and no restaurant has ever objected to this), he reacted very poorly.
It is acceptable for restaurants to have specific rules against outside food, but the manager could have politely informed us of this policy, and we would have completely understood. However, in today’s experience, he was extremely disrespectful and very rude. He kept saying, “You can't bring other restaurants food ” repeatedly—around four times—without letting us explain or speak. He just continued repeating the statement with wide eyes and a sharp glare, then abruptly turned away in an irritated manner without giving any of us a chance to complete a single sentence.
This was incredibly rude. Moreover, he made us wait for over two hours without showing any respect (Even though he asked us to wait only 40 minutes ) we waited all this time and we started to feel hungry, can't he just be a decent person?. His behavior in general reflected a racist attitude, especially when my sister tried to ask him something upon entering the restaurant, but he told her to “wait a moment” until he finished. When he finished, he did not bother to return and ask what she wanted but completely ignored her and went to check on some Irish customers instead. There’s no way he could have forgotten about her in those few seconds; he clearly chose to ignore her and attend to others.
To clarify, we are regular customers of this restaurant, and all our previous experiences have been good. However, this individual was different, and unfortunately, it was our first time encountering him.
He is rude, disrespectful, racist, bad person, unprofessional, and lacks the intelligence or refinement to deal with customers. I hope this complaint reaches his higher-ups in the restaurant, as he is not suitable for this job, and we need to prevent anyone else from facing the same treatment we...
Read moreAvoid! Very disappointing! The pizza slices we received take-away we basically only crust! We're not sure if this is how Little Wing makes their pizza, and if so, they seriously need to visit and/or study some really good pizza places in the world! It was some of the worst pizza we have EVER had! On our holiday to Belfast, NI, we came across what appeared to be a nice, clean pizza restaurant, Very nice pizza oven,The shop was indeed clean. On to the most important part, NO toppings on our pizza to speak of whatsoever! Slices hardly had any cheese, barely a touch of sauce, and a pathetic amount of pepperoni(which is what we ordered). So, basically we received just a crust. We were very disappointed! Lets face it, a pizza with no toppings, is simply just crust! I have to wonder if this is the way they make them, no idea what truly great pizza should be, or if, to save money, they are shorting customers on toppings. Either way, we would never return.Staff were okay, not bad, not great. There were many staff on hand, yet, none seemed to be doing much. Just wandering around trying to appear to be busy. Yes, I suppose I'm spoiled by regularly having great pizza in New York, Chicago, Miami,...but this is truly a disgrace! And to think they have 4 locations! How?! Our group actually felt the container the Little Wing pizza came in would have had more taste and flavor! Seriously, with all the information available in the internet, take a few minutes to learn how to make a good pizza! And don.t be afraid to put some toppings on it. It may cost you a bit, but we're sure customers would prefer it. Could have went to Iceland and got 2 pizzas and drinks that were better and cheaper!
We visited the The Pizza Company as well. on Botanic Avenue, and were most happy with their pizza! And, they were not afraid to put much toppings on their pizza. 4 out of 5 stars to The...
