Muriel's CafƩ Bar and Pub in Belfast is a true gem! From the moment you enter, you feel instantly comfortable and welcome. The atmosphere is cozy and inviting, with charming decor that perfectly blends traditional and modern styles. The staff is incredibly friendly and attentive, always ready to offer recommendations and ensure that every guest has a great time. The drinks menu is impressive, offering a wide selection of delicious cocktails, fine wines, and a fantastic range of beers. The homemade cocktails, in particular, stand out, crafted with great attention to detail and truly exceptional in taste. The food is also top-notch. From small snacks to hearty main dishes, everything is included and it is clear that high-quality ingredients and a lot of passion go into the cooking. The menu offers something for every taste, and the portions are generous.Muriel's CafƩ Bar and Pub is the ideal place to spend a relaxed evening with friends or just to enjoy a drink after work. The pleasant music, friendly ambiance, and excellent service make every visit a special experience. I can only highly recommend this...

We were upstairs just sat down with our drinks, within 10 mins we were asked to move downstairs by as they were cleaning up. Ok, we moved downstairs 10 mis later asked for last orders which was fine, ordered two drinks, they arrived, great. Two mis later staff then stood over us before we could drink what was just paid for. We felt very uncomfortable and felt like we were no longer wanted, we asked for plastic glasses so we could take our drinks away only to be told "we don't have plastics" is it too much to expect a reasonable amount of time to consume drinks purchased at last orders? Very disappointed. Don't take money from customers if you're not willing to allow them time to consume it. Very disappointed with...

I've been here at this nice wee establishment a few times now but on one particular occasion there was this doorman with greasy hair who gave me the heebie jeebies as he walked over to me a few times of the night and said and did weird things like nudge me and point to women and say ohhh she's dangerous. I can't seem to escape this insane mental patient as he's been in other bars and even a food outlet and he did the same thing there does he work in these places or just stand there being weird and harassing customers. I do enjoy the cocktails and service of this place though the toilets scare me especially the 6 foot bearded man with the with the bumps on his head that stands there sometimes asking me if I want to...

Indoor/ outdoor seating. It's on a road, so not as calming as the main square. The inside is lovely. There's facilities but no toilet seats. The staff are really lovely and welcoming and the menu is vaste, personally as a vegetarian I love the blue cheese sauce with grilled eggs and vegetables, for meat eater there is a piggy platter. Which they also make as a sharer. There's also some ice creams and desserts on order the fruit cheese cakes looks amazing. And plenty of great sights on the road that Marie's is based on, worth a visit.

The Bar itself is a 1920s style cocktail lounge and feels like a nice place to escape the world, some of the touches feel a little unnecessary like the underwear hanging from the ceiling but I found the upstairs very snug. Food is from the next door restaurant, American style, which comes to you like takeaway orders. I liked the casual aspect but again, slightly at odds with the decor. Overall a nice place to hide away from the rain and casual enough to use it as a first date spot.

An absolute gem of a place . We did an impromptu trip up from Dublin to see a band we love and saw last night at the Olympia, remembered here from a previous visit and so pleased we did. Amazing decor, fantastic cocktails - although don't see why you have loads staff swanning about and not taking drinks orders, that's annoying. Food was fine, bit cool, tasty. But for drinks and atmosphere and general all round fabulousness, this can't be beaten.
