Had the wings for starters which are a classic. However, wasn't very pleased with my main course. Ordered the chargrilled pork chop with thyme and garlic crushed potatoes and gravy. Thought it'll be the usual crispy crushed potatoes but it was technically just mash but with bits and lumps of un-mashed potatoes (think that was what they meant by crushed potatoes). Heavily disappointed with the pork chop though. First off, the considerably small piece of pork chop compared to the huge portion of potatoes was a let down. It seemed like I ordered mash with a side of pork chop. Second, the pork chop was overcooked. It was so tough to cut through it with the knife and even harder to chew. It was tough and dry and not at all juicy and tender as it's supposed to be. The staff were good and polite and it was crowded for a weekday, but still good vibes. They do lovely cocktails. Had the 'dark and stormy' and the strawberry daiquiri which were both delicious. They also have a good offer going - 2 courses for £14. However, I wish I could've enjoyed the main course and appreciated the offer better.

Went for a quiz night, had food and drinks before hand. Overall it was a fun night, but there were a few issues. The food was really nice, but the menu is a bit confusing for vegetarian and vegan options. It says the meat version and then vegetarian/vegan options available. For example there's a King Prawn Risotto which says vegan options available, but it doesn't say what is in the vegan option. This means that you have to ask the server about what's in every vegetarian/vegan option. Would be better if there was a separate vegetarian & vegan menu, or a separate section on the main menus. There were no coasters/beer mats on the tables, so the condensation of the drinks kept getting the table wet. Halfway through the night the upstairs area got really warm, and a lot of people seemed to be struggling with it. It was probably only this warm because it was a quiz night and was completely full, but they should have turned on the air conditioning.

Two of us went here on a Friday at 8:00pm - the staff were extremely friendly and had great energy! We were sat upstairs and the atmosphere was very nice. We each ordered a main, a side, a dessert, a cocktail and a mocktail. The food was really good and the portions were very generous! The dessert (brownies and ice-cream) was also a 10/10. The cocktails were super fruity and tasted great! Mocktails were not 10/10 but still good - can't complain at all! The pricing was v cheap for Belfast!

Had a lovely meal here today for 6 people .5 people got 14 pound 2 coarse meal which was beautiful. 1 person got sausage and mash of the lunch menu .we got 2 teas .bill came to 95.55 .we couldn't understand why we were short for the bill with 3 of us throwing extra money in for the tip . 2 of the party were counting out change to pay for the bill so we never even thought to question the bill until we returned home .on counting the bill should have come to 86 pounds not 95 pounds .when I phoned ryans I was told for a table over 6 there is a 10 per cent service charge .this is not printed on the menu .yet it is added unto bill .ryans said it is at customer s discretion whether they pay this or not .yet nobody informed us this would be added on .so if we had known this we would not of left a large tip on top of this .so just warning ⚠️ everyone to be careful. Either split your party into less than 6 or don't leave a tip on top of 1 you have already been charged for .I recommend ryans to everyone love there food and there service and have never been charged a service charge before .but will not be...

As soon as we walked in the place was entirely empty and smelt of a men's urinal throughout all downstairs. We sat ourselves down, nobody came near us apart from staff interruptinv our private conversation to say there is no cheese today, which we found randomly strange... After 15 mins we asked to be served. They had no potatoes in stock either apparently, I thought this was a joke. This was all after I said I wouldn't go back after the last time which was worse! Paid £10 for 10 single chicken nuggets and charged twice for drinks!!!! Child was told to turn down his ipad and we were only people in bar!!!! This kitchen is putrid upstairs, and floor is swimming with grease, obviously not kept clean. Small flies and midges over cutlery, furniture and menus!!!! Bartender dosnt even know what drink they stock!!! We asked what pints they do and ordered a chocolate tequila which I order every time I'm here, I prob have paid for a few bottles to be fair over the years. He had never heard of any of them??? Very strange staff, place has went to the sewerage...
