All i can say is WOW!!!
I visited Adian's as one member of a party of three and didn't really have any real expectations as to what i would see or experience. I can say however, that i was truly impressed with my visit to this wonderful Caribbean restaurant.
Let me just say from the get-go that management did a fantastic job in creating a warm environment and also a beautiful ambiance. Adian's Dining should be totally pleasing to the eye of most, if not all patrons. In fact, as far as Caribbean/West Indian restaurants go, Adian's Dining has to be one of the best on offer in Birmingham.
My party and I were seated upstairs which is actually a very nice part of the restaurant to be. The chic dining area is absolutely wonderful, with nice looking tables complemented with contrasting balloons helping to provide a warm but classy feel.
So let’s get down to what most of us go to a restaurant for...the culinary delights...yes, the food.
My hat goes off to the chef and the effort that went into creating his eclectic Caribbean themed menu. When you read what's on offer on the menu, you're truly put into a daze...because everything listed sounds so delicious and you are totally perplexed as to what to order.
My party and I eventually ordered a variety of things on the menu and we were not disappointed at all. I would consider myself to be quite a good cook, even if i say so myself and as a world traveler have developed a unique palate to know when I’m eating flavorful and well cooked food. Make no mistake, the food served up at Adian's Dining was superb and the service and extraordinary customer care that went with the dishes was wonderful.
I really loved how the chef plated and presented the various dishes, which were bursting with colour and full of flavour.
We also ordered a nice bottle of wine which went down really well with the beautiful food that we ate.
If you love caribbean food and want to try island food with a twist, a fusion of sorts, you have to visit Adian's Dining. You're doing yourself a disservice if you don't.
Bravo to all of the staff of Adian's Dining...stay consistent and maintain your quality.

Read moreClean environment, semi-friendly/fairly cooperative but very laid back staff, with cut-corner service requiring prompting and a lot requests for the basic serving and catering expectations. The food we sampled was nice and well cooked. If we had known we were on a 2 min timer to eat half a plate of food we would have begged for it to be piled on to the 1st plate.
Seemed to be overhelmed with pressure to accommodate a large party. Experienced a lack of placemats, napkins and cutlery- had to request 4 times for the right amount to be brought to the table, no attempt was made to dress the spaces at the table, but rather a lot of stretching over people's food to pass the placemats and cutlery. Napkins had to be requested separately to complete dressing, and were brought 1 at time for 7 guests...where's the logic or initiative! Food was a buffet style, but you CANNOT help yourself, instead you are served like school children in a line who shares all the food out on their own, (queue time-long) to make sure it is rationed to feed the 5000.
Literally £18 per head only gets you 1 plate of food, maybe an extra chicken or so, IF you eat quick as by time you get up for another plate they pack away the food.
Drinks service poor. Clearly the apple juice carton was finished, bartender continued to squeeze out the last drop before reluctantly opening a new carton, (not such if they were looking for a miracle, air into apple juice). After 1 person bought 6 cold beverages, and a hot drink which was served as a tea cup with a teapot, no tray was given- No tray given!!! It was not until I sarcastically mentioned their attention to health and safety and try and help the person carry the drinks up the stairs, did the staff then ask if we wanted them to be carried upon us departing from the bar and ascending up the stairs.. Errrr durrr!
Its a nice little lunch spot I'd near that location or an alternative if Mellows is fully booked. 1st and last experience for me. Not up to standard £18 for 1half full plate called a buffet. No effort made for trying to satisfy customers who express...
Read moreI came here last night for a 21st bithday meal. Ive eaten at Aidans once before many years ago and it was fab but the venue had now changed and we had a buffet. Honestly I personally couldnt fault it. The food was really good, the portion sizes were great and there was even extra with containers for us to pack and take home. I had two servings of dinner and got two containers of food so im oretty impressed. I dont eat meat but apparently the lamb and the chicken was amazing. The prawns were exceptional and the coleslaw was the best uve eaten in my life! The vegan option tasted very good too! Waitress for our table was so lovely and kind, infact all the staff was lovely and kind and when I went to ask for another plate it was no bother. Lets talk about the drinks... my goodness! The Blue moon was the star of the show but I tasted about 4 different cocktails and they were all MINDBLOWING. I would say prices of drinks reasonable considering how flasy they are (mine came out with bubbles and looked fab). We also got prosecco with strawberries and that was a lovely touch. DJ was on point, music was a vibe and every song was just like yasss! Overall, I couldnt fault it. I didnt use toilet facilities so cant comment on clenliness but restaurant was clean and very spacious. Cant...
