The Mint Apartments | Shortmove — Hotel in Birmingham

Have to point out that this “apartment” is a room in the owners house. That said, what a room.|You do get your own keys, with gate fob, so you can leave and enter the complex by car. I left mine there and used the tram, so easy and convenient.|The room has an en-suite shower room, with toilet and whb. It is stocked with plenty of toiletries, many you would find in a 5 star hotel, towels, and even a bathrobe.|The bed is a double, comfy with cabinets either side, adjacent the entry door is a set of drawers, with a “beer” fridge upon it. This is stocked with water, soft drinks and beer. Water is free, and cost of others is very fair.|Next to this is the wardrobe, again with plenty of hangers and more drawers.|Between wardrobe and en-suite is a display cabinet which houses the microwave, toaster and kettle. Enough tea and coffee to supply a small group. Milk in the fridge. Mugs, plates,cutlery etc.|On top of this is 26” flat screen tv, which has freeview, Netflix and prime. |There is a desk under the window, both the large windows have wooden venetian blinds.|The owner is very friendly and polite, cannot help enough, however leaves you alone once you’re settled.||Unfortunately there are a couple of negatives. |The blinds don’t keep all the light out, so if you need total darkness, it’s not for you.|Noise - both from within the building and from outside. The house hasn’t been built with soundproofing so when owners are moving around it reverberates in room. Similarly windows do not keep out...

The Appartement we are staying in doesn't have a dishwasher even though it was saying it on the offer. The cleaning service has not shown up yet, we are here since over a week.... The sink and bathroom tap were leaking, they just got fixed after I complained about that yesterday. Our stay was booked by the company of my partner, we could only choose from two options, and we picked the one with dishwasher...that isn't there. so we didn't really have a choice...

Location in the jewellery quarter is kinda nice though.

And it does have lots of space, but almost no place for clothes, Def not enough for two people. Three stars I think is appropriate for the apartment. It wouldn't be my first choice, but it works for a...

Paid for 3 days stay and when arrived found bed bugs on the bed. Jake the site contacts phone was off for a few hours and we refused to stay. No other plave due to being fully booked and then refused to refund due to saying they it was just black cotton. Despite me sending them clear pics and videos Mr Nasser Moffat the director sends me just one email saying it was just black specs as confirmed by his guys onsite who suddenly appear hours after we leave including the cleaner. Shambles of a location and as you will see and needs a massive clean. Please check all bedding before you sleep there and good luck as they have my £300+ and don't expect any customer service as head office is...
