Extremely disappointed with the attitude of the supposed manager at the branch this evening (22/08/21).

Me and my family visited the branch today and when we were about to place the order, the manager informs us that it is Baskin Robins policy that we have to pay before we order. The irony is that the till is at the end of the counter for the very reason that you try/buy your ice cream and pay for it when you have ordered.

I enquired whether this policy has changed as I have visited the same branch on multiple occasions and this has never been the case. To my amazement, the managers response was that this has always been the policy and he uttered that “I am the manager and it has always been the case.”

At this point I walked to the till to pay first and a family before us were leaving for the same reason. Anyway, I asked him for a few flavours and his response was, oh this is not in stock today.

How can I be expected to pay first and choose the flavours thereafter? Upon questioning, the manager said “I am the manager, I know which ice cream is in stock.” He has no menu for the list of ice creams so I am expected to know all the flavours and pay for the order for it to be made.

By this point, the manager was being obstreperous, so we decided to leave and go have our ice creams elsewhere.

I usually don't write reviews but today I needed to because I genuinely enjoyed my experience at Baskin Robbins. I went with my sister and brother here to try out the desserts based on recommendations and because it was a fairly new location on the radar. The place looks absolutely nice and I cannot fault it in way. After browsing the menu at a glance one thing I immediately recognised was that the pricing strategy for the products were reasonable and you haven't heard it all yet...

The staff members were very polite and friendly. Always attentive; making sure if everything was okay. We were served by Umaryr - his hospitality was beyond substantial, ensuring our likes and needs were met. Overall great customer service from all staff.

Moving onto the desserts. Famously known for there ice cream; lots of colorful and different flavored ice creams with fanciful names. I love desserts and I must say these desserts were delicious and the presentation was amazing. My siblings also enjoyed the desserts and they were satisfied with the service we received.

I would happily give this place a 10/10. Take my word for it guys it's worth it. For me it's all about good service and that is what we received here at Baskin Robbins - very welcoming and I would definitely recommend!

4 rating is for the company's ice cream taste and not for the outlet. To be honest, the outlet and management deserve 1 rating.*

If you're are a tidy person and looking for a 100% customer-focused place, then this ice-cream parlour is not for you. When I visited yesterday, the company franchise outlet was opened for taking out only due to an ongoing refurbishment. The outlet wasn't ready for serving however, considering the weekend business, the management just opened it without any preparations. Comparatively, with the number of customers, the outlet had only 1 member of staff available and that looks tired as well. Apart from this, their ice-creams was great and I do recommend their pistachio almond as the flavour contains less sugar and fits most of the taste buds as well. So, yes if you are visiting for the first time, must try their 'Pistachio Almond' ice cream and shakes.

PS:- If you are visiting for the first time and not an ice cream lover, please do not order more than one scoop as their 1 scoop is way too bigger than a normal scoop. Otherwise, you'll end up with an...
