Burger Boi (Hagley Road) — Restaurant in Birmingham

I decided to pop in and get some food. Firstly stuck on flavours for the burgers astehy have only limited flavours. So I picked Korean chicken burger meal. I added gravy to go with it but the gravy was thick, cold and slodgy (horrible). We had ordered a beef burger and a and cheese too. The problem wit the mac and cheese was it an in them boxes and it liked like it being in the box any longer it would have fallen though it didn't taste the best as wasn't seasoned all over just in places. The beef burger my partner said was alright. Chips were okay but could do better. The Korean chicken burger was over cooked and certain flavours overpowered. I live round the corner so by the time I got home the burgers were just about warmish. Definitely need to improve on flavours. There's was lots of staff half of which were just standing around. Unfortunately I won't be going again first impression of a place and food makes a huge difference I understand you've just started up but you need to improve the flavours and make sure food is piping hot. I recently visited Burger Boi, and let me just say, this place is a hidden gem! From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere was welcoming, with a cool, laid-back vibe that’s perfect for enjoying a delicious meal. But let’s talk about the burgers—WOW! They are hands down some of the best I’ve ever had. The patties are juicy, perfectly seasoned, and cooked to perfection. The buns are soft and fresh, and the toppings? Absolutely top-notch and generously portioned.

The menu has a great variety, catering to all tastes, whether you’re a classic cheeseburger lover or looking for something a bit more adventurous. I tried the signature Burger Boi Special, and it was a flavor explosion! Plus, the fries were crispy and golden, the perfect sidekick to the burger.

The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, making sure everything was just right. It’s clear they take pride in what they do, and it shows in every bite.

If you’re in the area and craving a burger, do yourself a favor and head to Burger Boi. You won’t be disappointed! Five stars...

What a bloody mess. Ordered on uber. The growing boi kids meal and you get a free pot of ice cream and a drink. Upgraded mine to chocolate milkshake. Burger turned up cold, mind you I am less than 2 miles from this place. Fries not in the bag (so you have to select the free fries... how daft). The ice cream was also missing. Deliver etc cost c2.70ish. Called them and they said order something small and we will send out the ice cream (and I said fries too as they are free). So the cheapest thing on their menu is water which was 50p + delivery etc became 3.45. This would mean for me to get my ice cream and fries I would have to pay another 3.50 for something I have paid already. Customer service is absolute rubbish. So the burger (delivered cold). Soo salty, it tasted just crispy,not Jucy. The salad in the burger was sub par and they sauces are lacking flavour.

If you are after a burger this is not the place. There are better places with a lot better customer service who don't forget things in your order and deliver...
