**UPDATE: I’ve ordered several times from here since and can’t fault the food & service. The food is always delicious. Highly recommend!!

**UPDATE: The manager called me when I ordered a second time and was very apologetic which I appreciated. However, when the order arrived, they forgot our drinks and the food was very dry, hardly any sauce at all. Don't think we'll be coming here again that often, especially how much it costs.

Ordered from here last night using UberEats. i have been here a few times and has been great, however, last night, like always, I ask for no onions in my (because of allergies) and I ate it and found several onions inside. I was, and still am very sick from eating this.

i reported it to Uber Eats and they kindly refunded me for the meal. I was fine with this customer service and understand mistakes happen. However, I just received this message from I-Krave:

"Lucy, we do not put onions in the Katsu curry throughout the whole process and it is free from onion. You might have mistaken the potatoes for onions in the Katsu sauce. The food was cooked and dispatched with no delay but we do not have control over Uber drivers unfortunately if any delay during transit. Regards."

I am so upset because there was definitely onions inside as you can see in the photo. I think I know the difference between what a square, soft potato looks/tastes like in comparison to a crunchy, thin onion slice. All i needed was an...

Beautiful shop front, great matching outfits for branding and always plenty of staff. Food is great quality but expect to pay more for that. Even a small single can of coke is £1.25! A 50ml bottle is £1.29 generally! Shop responded fast and very well to government guidelines on covid by installing face screens etc. Can no longer sit inside and eat but takeaway still available. Friendly staff and great customer service. Very clean from what I can see when inside ordering. Gave 4:5 instead of 5:5 due to pricing being somewhat inflated which seems to be a habit of any shop with a close proximity to city centre. Parking is directly outside on pavement on main road which can be difficult during peak times or rush hour. Further up road is junction with one way hagley road towards 5ways ring road and other end goes into double yellow lines. Can park underneath Broadway Plaza in their car park but it will be a bit of a walk just to go in and collect food. You can also park on the residential one-way road opposite but once you are leaving you will have to go around the whole circuit to leave as it is also one way system. There is a council car park on the one-way road opposite but again it’s a bit of a walk and housework just to go in and collect some food. FOOD:

The food at ikrave definitely meets high professional standards and are not your usual cheap ingredient, overly salty/oily chinese food. They manage to have the 'Salt and chili Squid' not too rubbery and covered with coating. The food comes in tasty bigger portion than usual chinese shops especially the rice which happens to fill me up everytime no matter which portion i get. I am always satisfied with the food at Ikrave and usually can't eat enough because it's so filling.

SERVICE:

The staff are very friendly, polite and professional - seem like genuinely friendly people and know how to take an order well! 😂 Whenever I order on the phone, I don't have to mess around with the delivery because I'm a regular customer therefore they've saved me as a contact which I'm grateful for.

On three different occasions they had got my order wrong slightly, (Wrong sauce on ribs which I personally didn't enjoy) so I had mentioned this to the staff and were able to the sort this with me generously and patiently.

Food usually comes earlier than the time given for me (I live 1 mile away) which is a nice surprise to have.

SUMMARY:

I think anyone who goes here will really enjoy Ikrave due to all the points I've made in this review. I think they deserve a lot more customers and I hope they can expand their chain of restaurants because more people deserve to eat such...
