Hi, I lived in South Korea for just over 2 years and it was hard to get decent Korean food here. What I have tried has mostly been miss, but this place is great and they have a good variety of Korean food from street food (Dumplings, Korean Pancake), to Chinese/Korean Fusion (Jajangmyeon, JJampong etc) to more traditional Korean food, there's even some Japanese with the Okonomiyaki, so there's a good mix. What I have had has been 5 stars and 99% the same what I would have had in South Korea. The only question I have is, why is your Jaeyeok Deopbap sweeter than what I used to have in Korea? It seems more honey based and a little less Gochujang/Gochu-garu based. Is that to take the edge off the spice for western customers? And would I be able to place any future orders of the Deopbap with a more Gochujang/Soy spicy kick? I have more of a liking for spicy than sweet. P.S. i used your website last night and will buy again today for my mother who is curious, the service was good and the 10% off is nice. Picture below is Jaeyuk Deopbap (Pork fried Korean curry) with Gochu Kimbap (Sort of like a big Sushi roll cut up but without rice vinegar and usually meat rather than seafood)

Incredible value and delicious Korean food - cheaper and tastier than the restaurants in the city centre! The Korean Bulgogi Set Menu is great value for menu and is a great way to try lots of different things and flavours - also comes with a big portion of rice on the side! The beef was a little tough but very flavourful. Kimchi was great, prawn tempura could be a bit more flavourful but was nice and crispy. The seaweed salad was bright and refreshing. The chicken wings were sweet and caramelised and slightly spicy. Egg roll was great too! Love the little touch with free box of seaweed! Also got a cheese corn dog which had cooled a bit by the time it arrived but I reheated it in the microwave and it melted again - so tasty and oozy!

This tiny hole in the wall business with only enough seating for a couple of people is turning out fantastic traditional Korean Cuisine in lightning speed... with family feel customer service and brilliant quality of food deliveries flying out the door tells me this is a local favorite I stumbled upon it the other day and returned wanting to try why I had the beef Kimbab with Korean beef and kimchi a soy based dipping sauce brought a delightful saltiness to the dish wash down with a very interesting cinnamon punch tasted like fireball without the fire as I stood reading the menu I realise there is a lot more here to try than just the rice seaweed roll..

The food is fantastic, absolutely amazing. I’ve ordered from here twice & both times have been great. Probably the best Korean food I’ve ever had. HOWEVER, there was an issue with my order & I called to let cocobab know. Initially they said there was nothing they could do. Then I spoke to the chef who said they would bring the items missing from my meal which was very kind of him. I called a few minutes later to let them know they should leave it and it would be a waste to bring the item over. But I was informed the chef had already left. When the chef arrived he practically threw the food at me before rolling his eyes & stomping off. The food is fantastic but the chef’s behaviour was unacceptable for that they get 4stars. But once again the...
