Shake House - Selly Oak — Restaurant in Birmingham

If i could give negative stars i would. I ordered on uber eats around 9pm, waited a whole hour before calling this establishment just for them to tell me that the delivery driver would be picking up the order in 3-4 minutes and that the order was not yet complete. I ordered 2 cookies, 1 waffle, and 2 milk shakes. Another hour past and I attempted to call this establishment again just for them to not answer the phone because the phone was off the hook. It doesn’t take 2-3 hours to make those desserts, when this is something you could make for yourself in 45 minutes or less. Especially knowing that i am on vacation, came half way across the world from philadelphia to have the absolute worst service possible and experience ever from this shop. I WILL NEVER EVER ORDER FROM HERE EVER AGAIN BECAUSE THEY TAKW YOUR MONEY AND THEY DONT PROVIDE YOU A SERVICE FOR THE MONEY YOU PAID. Almost 50 USD down the drain....

Ordered a couple shakes and a large choc chip cookie dough. Waited in the car for them because it was freezing inside (the door was wide open in the middle of winter and wouldn't close). Came in to find only the shakes were ready as the girl forgot to make the cookie dough. Not a problem. I waited a bit longer, only to overhear that she was putting Kinder Bueno on it. This was dangerous as my partner who ordered it has a servere nut allergy and ordered the chocolate chip for a reason. She slapped it on the counter without saying anything and when I asked about the nuts she said we asked for the Kinder Bueno which we never would. Then when I asked for a refund for the large cookie dough as I couldn't wait in the cold any longer, she only refunded for a regular size. Shame as the shakes are good but won't...

I ordered 3 waffles on Uber Eats. Only 2 arrived. I called to complain and asked them to remediate the issue. They said 3 were sent and the driver had delivered incorrectly. But they were clearly lying as the icecream was in a sealed/stapled bag and only 2 ice creams were in it. If they sent 3 waffles there would have been 3 ice creams in the sealed bag. When I told them this they still denied it and said 3 waffles were sent. They then asked why I ordered from a place far away, as the waffles were cold and delivery took over an hour, if they can't send items over such a distance why promote themselves as being able to deliver to an area they can't. Idiots. Woman on the phone was also very rude. Poor service. Horrible service. Won't order...
