Dixy Chicken Sutton Coldfield — Restaurant in Birmingham

So let me start with by giving you an unbiased review... I visited the establishment on the open day the atmosphere was good. Alot of custom and the place very clean and designed to a good standard. Staff very friendlyand eager to help im very particularwith my chickenand only like certain pieces.. . now here's the thing .. the food.whilst I did get the pieces of chicken I requested which was appreciated but the coating lacked flavour and was soggy. Which is normal in moat chicken shops these days even kfc.. the hot wings were spicey but again lacked the crispy coating.. the fries were terrible a defo miss for me .some frozen over fried things ... the strips and bites were the best but also lacked flavour. But were crisper than the chicken, bites were alittle over done to. I find that thes chicken shops cook a vast amount of chicken and it's stacked in the cabinet over top to keep warm mean while the steam from layered chicken causes the coating to go soft.. if they concentrated on quality over quantity I believe it would be much better.. they missed some of my order despite asking before I left I believe one staff member being distracted due to the excitement of the shop opening ans seeing familiar faces which is understandable and when I called the restaurant up the man I spoke to was polite and helpful offering me to speak to them next time I come in and they'll sort out my missed items (although I'm not likely to do this lol) I do hope they do well at this place best tip I could give go check out dixy chicken Newtown.. the best chicken by far.. ask them guys what they do to their chicken I guarantee you'll have more genuine...

i am very disappointed with the customer service receiving i had placed a phone order the person was not understanding what i was trying to order also he did not have a very good English he had messed all my order then i had leave the phone order and came to store to place order when i came in store it was the same person on the phone i tried to place order again but he just was not understanding and did not have a very good English i did over hear his name from his colleague shabir or saber not sure but i have been hear before but this person did not know how to serve customers management should look in to this and get it sorted its a...

Sabir is a very good member of Staff. We have eaten here a few times now since their opening. It is a fitting complement to Sutton Coldfield in terms of the decor and seating areas in this family takeaway, (although the seat-space in the booths could be more adequate as they'renot long enough). It is airy and spacious and the ambient flow of water is a beautiful touch from the tank in the wall. So long as this place is carefully monitored, it will always be a speck above the other 'no-go' M restaurant at the opposite end of Town. Well...
